I think that we should give exactly the same aid to Palestine that we give to Israel. Preferably nothing, but what we give to Israel we should give to Palestine.
IMO, Israel has been provoking the Palestinians seeking an excuse for a large and wide ranging offensive against them and their allies in the immediate region. This is probably preparation for action against Iran which will cause all hell to break out. Israel wants to gain the upper hand against surrounding enemies before that happens. How tragic and unfortunate the human suffering, especially that of the many innocents! Israel may be culpable, but so are her enemies and everyone who financed, assisted, and acquiesced to Iran’s nuclear ambition. There will be a lot of blood on a lot of hands. I hope the populace will maintain compassion, empathy, and mercy between ethnicity, even as governing bodies fight it out.
