The Fukushima story is not a story, it is horrific tragedy.
One with which the world should have responded with lightening speed, demanding that the walls of the mythical Japanese stoicism be burned down under the weight of our combined need to bring this tragedy to the safest and quickest resolution possible.
But no, that did not happen. The most probable reason I have heard for this was the legal responsibilities surrounding the reactor design and whose insurance would ultimately be held accountable.
I am not a scientist, I have not attended University.
I am a farm boy with a diploma in a technical trade, nearing my retirement years.
I learned common sense, with a degree in listening to my gut instincts.
Every fibre of my being tells me Fukushima is only getting more tragic by the day, and it is not going to end well.
I am scared and know that something must be done, and the present silence out of Japan can only mean their stoicism has won out over our need to be informed.
Not a good situation at all.

I watched this video, and have to say I would have laughed had it been a comedy. But it was not, and no laughter flowed as I heard about kicking “hot” fuel rods into the pool from the reactor floor, or swimming in a cooling pond full of spent fuel….
Again, I acknowledge I’m not an expert, but this is not just some welding slag we are talking about.
This fuel releases radiation and the video says we have no reason to fear the radiation it gives off. Ok, what about other forms of radiation?
UV from the sun — You will get cancer from this.
Police radar guns — you will get cancer from this.
Cell phones against your ear — you will get cancer from this.
Why do welders wear a helmet with darkened glasses? welding arc’s give off UV and will burn your eyes very rapidly if not protected.

Yes this is a different type of radiation, but the effects are the same. The particles that are emitted during the break down of nuclear radioactive substances travel in a straight line and if they hit you they travel through you, not around you. During their trip through your person, the atoms and molecules they impact in your body, change. The greater the amount of impact you receive, the greater the chance cellular damage will occur. Period.
No matter how they try to make it sound less scary, common sense tells you it cannot be good.
Now, back to Fukushima.
If the release of radio active materials were stopped within one year of the event, then we would have had two less years of 400 tons radioactive water spilling into the ocean every day. Can anyone argue that cleaning this up sooner rather than later would be a bad thing?
It is time us little people told those who are telling us to put up and shut up about all that is happening to US to step aside and let someone who will stop the BS and take action.
And no, it is not the NWO saviour Henry Kissinger talks about the people clamoring for at the end of disaster after disaster, it is Henry Kissinger and his Ilk that I am talking about.
These guys are the Godzilla that lurks in the ocean off the shore of Japan.

There is no way Japan should be hosting the Olympics in February, but they will. The first radioactive Olympics. And not one word will be uttered about Fukushima, under penalty of death.
