Shocking Oakland, Ca.  Home  Discovery, Heated up and Contaminated with Fukushima Radiation.  You thought it was just in the Ocean, think again.

Here is an email I received from a friend concerning how Fukushima is saturating the west coast of the USA.  With permission, I want to share what an independent nuclear physicist found  doing his own independent research and measurements in his Oakland home.  We must face the facts, There are no Nuclear experts today.  This whole industry did not grow into Nuclear facilities based on expert knowledge.  Corporate greed and power has driven the industry.  If there had been expertise in this area, the world would not be dying at the in-expertise of Tepco/ Fukushima and Chernobyl.  This is very comparable to the lack of Economic expertise and greed  that exists in  the money world.  The economy, banking and finance are in a critical shamble and creating poverty and death for many.

The email communication was as follows:

“Larry  (my husband, a nuclear physicist by training) just measured our furnace air filter in Oakland, CA, and found it 10X more radioactive than background! 

When the “plume” from Fukushima arrived in March 2011, he measured  it 7x greater than background in the furnace filter over 1 week of use.    University of California at Berkeley’s official statement was that nothing over background was measurable! 

Since we just started using the furnace here about a week ago, the time frame of furnace filter usage is comparable to that week back in 2011.

This is really bad news, since the contamination is obviously continuing through our air and water and getting worse.  I suspect it depends on the jet stream, too, and I have heard that there may be “hot spots” that are impossible to predict.  A colleague took a Geiger counter on a plane and measured this variability, too.   

Then, a friend of mine’s daughter had a baby that was in utero when Fukushima’s plume arrived on the West Coast, and that baby was born extremely deformed & dysfunctional.  After many surgeries, it is unclear whether the child will survive or be able to lead a normal life outside of an institution. 

Back in 1989, I was in Kiev, Ukraine, and witnessed the birth defects of the children from Chernobyl where they were institutionalized from birth, and it was so utterly tragic!

We owe it to humanity and our future generations  to completely contain Fukushima in a concrete mausoleum, like Chernobyl (although now after a couple of decades, that is leaking!), which will hold it for a few decades until we learn of better materials to contain it.  As it stands now, it will contaminate the Northern hemisphere, and from there, in just a few years, the Southern hemisphere, too.

I don’t have the airplane results—that was told to me by a woman recently in my VT workshop this past November.  That same woman is in her 50s, grew up in Humboldt County (extreme northern county in CA) and went to high school just next to a nuclear power plant there.  She told me that she had 3 different cancers already, including lung cancer, and survived it.  Many of her classmates have already died of cancer, and all of her teachers are also dead now, too.  She was the one who is monitoring the airspace while in airplanes, and finding hotspots around the country that seem correlated to the jet stream at the time,  but unfortunately, I don’t have her data.  She told me that she measured a very hot spot around Seattle’s airspace using a Geiger counter.
