I hope I can get a large number of people to read this book. It may be the “Atlas Shrugged” of this generation. Those are mighty big shoes to fill!
I’ve been reading D.W. Ulsterman for years. He is among the most prolific conservative writers of the last decade and I visit his website, http://theulstermanreport.com, along with millions of others. Dominatus is his first full length fiction novel based upon real-life events facing America today.
A group of people from all walks of life, have chosen to make a new home in a tiny, isolated Alaskan community of Dominatus, where they can live lives of personal liberty and freedom reminiscent of Galt in “Atlas Shrugged.”
The United States is no more. The world is run by the New United Nations (N.U.N). You are not allowed to own guns, seniors are not allowed medical care, abortion is rampant, freedom to work and travel are severely restricted, and the government can treat you as a terrorist if you complain, by calling in the drones.
In the darkest hour, just before the N.U.N. is prepared to level the community and kill all the people, Reese Neeson, delivers his radio show from Dominatus, much as John Galt did, to tell the people that while the America we know is gone, we can rebel and throw the N.U.N. out.
Dominatus reads like today’s news. It just extrapolates into the very near future what we will face in this country if we don’t get political change.
