How dare any Muslim (or Hindu, or other) try to impose his beliefs on me?

In the course of a discussion I made a point clear. There are extremist Muslims like Anjem Choudary who believe in the fiction called Quran, and want to impose their views on others. They derive their principles from the Quran and associated documents.

In response to a Muslim Facebook friend who said:

Religion ISlam says – All non muslims are kafir & must rot in hell. But Quran says :Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good– they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.5:69 omg , this means all christians ,hindus and jews will have success in hereafter ,if they believe in their creator (Allah or call HIM with ANY beautiful name)… And there are many examples ,hope u’ll come across while reading Quran…cheers smile emoticon

MY RESPONSE

First, Quran is a piece of fiction. What it says means nothing to me, nor to a vast majority of the world.

The issue here is that those who have strongly fooled themselves into believing in this piece of fiction (like Anjem Choudary) are trying to impose their will on others. They derive their principles from this piece of fiction.

That’s the most ridiculous position to be in.

It is quite OK for Anjem Choudary to say – “Here’s a piece of fiction that I believe in. Would you like to listen to my story and – if you like it – believe in it?”

What Anjem Choudary says, however, is that I am supposed to follow his ridiculous Sharia law.

That’s ENTIRELY inimical to the principles of liberty and truth that I stand for.

How DARE anyone take it upon himself to force his views on others?

So, here’s the problem, Muhammad Shadab – I DON’T care about your Quran or anyone’s religious scripture. I treat these as pieces of ancient literature. How dare anyone tell me that ” all christians ,hindus and jews will have success in hereafter ,if they believe in their creator (Allah or call HIM with ANY beautiful name)… And there are many examples ,hope u’ll come across while reading Quran”

I DON’T believe in any such schizophrenic creator of the sort depicted in the Quran – or in other religious books.

I am 100 percent sure there is no “hereafter”.

So the idea that there are people who want to pass judgement on me and others – and in the case of some of the Muslims – impose their judgements by force – is INHUMAN and barbaric. Criminal.

I consider Anjem to be a criminal. There are many such criminals among Muslims.

Not a single follower of the fiction called Jainism has bombed any place or murdered any innocent on a large scale.

Why do Muslims take it upon themselves to “judge” others? WHO THE HELL ARE THESE MUSLIMS?!!!!

Live your life and do what you like, but to judge others, to force others to believe in Sharia, to tell others what will happen to them in the NON-EXISTENT “hereafter” – that’s a form of extreme delusion.

In like manner, I’d like to say: HOW DARE any Hindu try to impose his beliefs (e.g. regarding the cow being HIS mother) on me? I LOVE beef and eat cows and all animals that are consumed as food anywhere in the world. Animal protein is NUTRITION. Regardless, what I eat is my business and no one should DARE impose their beliefs on me.

WHO THE HELL ARE YOU ANYWAY? – what gives you a right to imagine you can impose your beliefs on others?
