William Jewell College Recruitment Drive

YAL at William Jewell College had the pleasure of tabling at Jewell’s activities fair which took place during the “Eclipse on the Hill” party. Nearly every student was in attendance, and even people from the Kansas City metro area were present for the solar eclipse watch party. When we weren’t looking at the sky, our chapter managed to reach out to many interested first year students. We even had the opportunity to talk about our club to several people in the community who took a look at our table. We finished the activities fair with a solid 10 new sign ups from first year students or students who had never heard about our club before. At a school with less than a thousand students where most people on campus are already very familiar and are already involved in our club, we are very proud of bringing in 10 newcomers.
