Megatrend Rising

Investing is all about trends.

Trends come in different sizes. Some trends are small. Some are big. Some trends are big beyond belief.

I call the big trends ‘megatrends’.

During your investing lifetime, you may only come across one megatrend-investing opportunity.

This is why it’s important to make the most of a megatrend when one appears.

And if my calculations are right, the world is on the cusp of experiencing the latest and perhaps greatest megatrend of all.

Get into this megatrend now and it could reward you with unbelievable wealth.

Wealth by Megatrend

It’s rare that you get more than one megatrend happening at the same time. Megatrends are genuinely rare events.

Most of the time there are 50, 100, or even 200 years between megatrends.

The time between the Industrial Revolution megatrend in Britain in the 1750s and the rise of America megatrend in the 1890s was around 140 years.

That’s a long time. Entire generations of people came and went without seeing or understanding the impact of a megatrend.

The important thing to remember with megatrends is that once they begin they can last for a long time. Investors who sit on the sidelines assuming that it’s ‘just another bubble’ are in danger of sitting on the sidelines for a long time as the megatrend builds.

That’s why megatrends are so important.

One of the biggest megatrends was the megatrend of the 1890s that saw the US overtake Britain to become the world’s biggest economy.
