You see, if you buy a stock, you can only sell it if there is another buyer.
Rich people wanted to exit the market and if they dumped 2 million in stocks on any one day, the market would decline a lot of points, it would spook investors and they would not want to buy.
So,
The financial planners sold in increments, various amounts of the rich people stocks.
If a corporate exec was selling company stock, they’d probably sell 100,000 shares after the fed makes some statement.
The news would explain it was the fed that caused the decline.
People’s 401 K plans automatically put money in the stock market twice a month
on the 15th if it fell on a Friday,
the 14th if the 15th fell on a Saturday,
the 13th if the 15th fell on a Sunday,
and last work day of the month.
The market so called guru’s knew this. They would sell when the new money came in, and the 401k’s were buying them out.
So if you are getting financial news on the internet, you deserve to have your money taken.
Not as in it’s owed to you to have your money taken, its in a fool and his money are soon parted. Fools take advice from people they are not paying for the advice, so there is no requirementn the advice is good, useful or beneficial, and you can’t sue the person who’s advice you took…
you can’t sue the person who’s advice you took because they don’t know you, they don’t know you took their advice, they didn’t promise you the advice was good, and somewhere on their youtube channel it says for entertainment purposes, etc.
