In the movie “The Big Short” the imminent meltdown took a long time to actually be realized by the swap holders. The bubble burst and hundreds of thousands were outed from their homes long before the actual wave even began. It started in 2007 and then in July ’08 the first lenders were collapsing – September ’08 – the shocks of Bear Stearns, Lehman, Freddie and Fannie Macs and AIG took the descent into March of 2009. Personally, I don’t think the timeline will be the same this time. There are multiple bubbles and estimates are that this will be 10 x (or more) worse. If this is in terms of QUADrillions of fiat dollars at to-DAY’s valuation … I’ll just leave it there. There’s still time to prepare; how much is unknown, but it going to be more expensive as time goes on.
