There is a big update in the Trayvon Martin death case. The Jurors just asked clarification on manslaughter charges. What does this mean? It means that they have discarded the ridiculous 2nd degree murder charges and are down to the new manslaughter charge that was tacked on right before they went into deliberation…expect a verdict soon:

they shouldn’t convict, there isn’t any evidence to support a conviction, there is however evidence to support stand your ground and self defense!!

They should convict on manslaughter, and he should serve 7 years all said and done. He killed an unarmed teenager and made up a story to cover his bases. There is more evidence to convict (two witnesses for prosecution, one against) and Zimmerman has an aggressive, violent, and sociopathic history. There is absolutely no grounds to use ‘stand your ground’ as a defence (hence why it wasn’t used) as video evidence and testimony by Zimmerman indicate that he was both pursuing Trayvon, and that at various points, Trayvon was described as ‘running away’ and/or ‘skipping away’ from Zimmerman – had he used the ‘stand your ground’ defence he would have lost in short order, and been unable thereafter to claim ‘self-defence’. Opinions are opinions, but if you’re just going to talk out of your butt, don’t waste peoples’ time and your energy. Look at all the facts – don’t just exhibit a knee-jerk emotional reaction, and reduce the situation to a 50/50 chance.
Maybe you should read the 6th amendment. A person has right to know the nature of the charges against him. Convicting of manslaughter when the defense has no opportunity to address the charge is unconstitutional. I could care less about this particular case, but someday this could happen to any of us.

I wonder if the jurists are being blackmailed by the NSA, everybody has done something they are embarrassed about, the NSA surely has some info on each one of them.
This means the evidence for second degree was not enough to convict. Asking for clarification on manslaughter is a justified and normal concern. Juries are notoriously good in all their attempts to be fair. It’s good education to sit on one and see the marvel of how our fellow citizens really do strive to be fair and just.
I believe in the jury and trust them to be fair.

Regardless of what they do to Zimmerman, going forward, people of color that attack, threaten to attack, rape, kill, murder, or rob people of another race shall be HELD TO THE SAME STANDARD. They’ll convict, it’s a given.
Zimmerman was charged with murder 2. How can they convict him of something he wasn’t charged with?
Zimmerman is innocent and was ambushed from behind by travyon, a supposed, thief and druggie. If he is convicted I think it will be taken to a higher court and I hope this abomination of a judge is terminated.

We cannot allow folks to run around and shoot others. GZ should never had confronted TM. He had numerous opportunities to back out. He is not LLE and not licensed to chase people down. He was cocky because of the gun. If he didn’t carry the thing, he would have run like the chicken he is. Once he confronted TM, TM reacted and decided to stop GZ so he wouldn’t use the gun. He beat on GZ hard, but it wasn’t enough. Both men likely committed crimes that night, but one is dead. If GZ gets off, he will likely shoot someone else in the future as he plays his Dirty Harry games.
And now he was just found not-guilty
