ZEDNEWS: The British Government Censors Alternative Media On Youtube!

Zednews - UK - This week, British newspaper, The UK Column had all of it’s video content removed from youtube under new censorship laws for producing a “television like” alternative news programme. This is the Orwellian nightmare of the “Thought Police” depicted in George Orwells book 1984 coming into being.

Alternative media and opinion is important for a fair and free society and with the advent of the mainstream media being taken over by corporations, British society is officially living under a totalitarian regime, none of which has been seen since the Nazis in Western Europe.

This week, the BBC was instructed not to cover 50,000 people marching against austerity through London who all met outside of BBC Broadcasting House in central London. The only opinion which is allowed to be propergated is the offical opinion of the state and nothing else. This is what George Orwell was warning us about and now it’s here.
