 Cleveland Will Pay Tamir Rice’s Family $6 Million In Wrongful Death Lawsuit.

The Rice family won their law suit against the Cleveland Ohio. Their son Tamir Rice was “murdered”  in 11/14 by a Cleveland” Ohio policer officer Timothy Loehmann.

The family will receive a settlement of six million dollars.

Tamir Rice was ‘playing’ with a toy pellet gun on the footsteps of a recreation center in Cleveland.

A dispatch officer remembers receiving a call about a person waving a “probably fake” gunpassers-by. When an Officer arrived at the scene without questioning and hesitation this so called officer shot the 12 year old boy. The child’s death began extensive protests against police viciousness, principally because he was an innocent, unarmed child playing with a toy.

The city, police officers and 911 dispatch staff are still admitting there was no misconduct in his death.

In 12/115 a grand juryruled not to indite Timothgy Lehmann, the police officer who murdered Tamir.

The prosecutor, Timothy McGinty, said the shootingwas  a “perfect storm of human error, mistakes and miscommunications,” and said Police Officer Loehmann had reason to fear for his life when he shot the 12-year-old.

The Rice’s attorney’s mentioned in the statement ,“Although historic in financial terms, no amount of money can adequately compensate for the loss of a life.”“Tamir was 12 years old when he was shot and killed by police—a young boy with his entire life ahead of him, full of potential and promise. In a situation such as this, there is no such thing as closure or justice. Nothing will bring Tamir back.”

The settlement emanates a few months after another new high-profile settlement:

In which, the McDonald family of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald was given five million dollars from the City of Chicago, after the killing of McDonald in 2004.

Thank God top surveillance cameras, Police officers were noticed on video shooting Mc Donald 16 times.

In that particular case, the city offered the settlement before the Mc Donald’s could even file a law suit against Chicago.

The Chicago, and other settlements, were veiwed by protestors as an affort by the city  to ‘silence families and control conversations’ on police vicious acts towards citizens.

Other settlements in cases like these have accumulated throughout America.

In addition, the financial cost to the human levy in the homicides of innocent people, is beginning to add up!

AsCleveland.com shows us, the settlement does not clear up all legal issues in the vicinity to Tamir Rice’s death.

That a federal assessment of the officers in Rice’s shooting violated Civil Rights Laws is still ongoing.

None the less, this is a clear disaster, specifically after the non-indictment of Timothy Loehmann.

Let us not forget, the Cleveland doesn’t will not admit that the 12-year-old Tamir Rice’s death represents misconduct.
