A BREAKTHROUGH IN THE SPIRIT OF ENTERPRISE

Unlike the liberal-left, the patriotic right is hopeless at marketing their ideals and educational material so essential to unity and growth. Ironically, the most successful at creating awareness and harnessing political identity were the National Socialists (Germany 1920 – 1945) and Fascists of Italy (1922 – 1945).

The marketing of Hitler’s NSDAP shaped the world of advertising and is still of great value today. The National Socialist record at self-promotion through posters, films and books is legendary. Such marketing tactics provided much-needed income for the National Socialists and Fascists.

It still does. Mein Kampf is still the most downloaded book and National Socialist posters, recordings, videos and books are as popular as ever. A conventional British publisher (palace publisher) says “a swastika or Hitler on the book’s cover doubles a book’s sales.”

By comparison, today’s idealistic inheritors of the patriotic spirit are still at the embryo stage. There is no collaboration between book publishers and sellers, but often there is theft of intellectual property, especially by British ‘right’ booksellers. Countless rightist organisations and groups are isolationist and as fund-raisers tend to be as useless as a walking stick with a wheel on it.

A breakthrough has occurred following the rise in popularity of an online Swedish book publisher. Their mission is to make available books that Amazon has issues with. According to its website, the Free Speech Library is a new bookstore on the global market. In July 2019 the site was launched to the public. The company makes a huge effort to create an alternative to the multinational bookstores, which bans “politically incorrect” and “controversial” authors and publishers.

It has become an increasing problem for authors and publishers to distribute their books. When Amazon and other major online stores continue to purge titles, we need to find other solutions, says Stefan Jacobsson, one of the initiators of Free Speech Library.

The idea behind Free Speech Library is to create a platform where you can find books that others have banned and censored or books that are at risk of getting banned in the future, only because of who have published it or which author has written the book.

The Ethnic European now works with Free Speech Library and by its contribution is reaching a point where it will rival Amazon and other corporate-controlled bookselling enterprises.

Michael Walsh, himself an author of 60 book titles and also a book publisher says “this is a breakthrough that is well overdue. We hope to play a part in the continued success of the Free Speech Library.”
