Healing Mantras As Part Of Energy Medicine

You can use mantras, or chants, to help you with any issue – it doesn’t just have to be health related. The reason for this is that by getting the balance of your energetic vibrations ‘right’  your life is going to improve in all respects, and it’s going to happen  automatically.

Sound meditation through the use of mantras can be powerful, and it’s certainly a useful tool to have in your energy medicine box.

Affirmations

Sanskrit mantras are basically affirmations, but what’s different about them is that the meaning of the chant isn’t the important thing – it’s the way the words sound, or resonate. Vibration is bound to have an effect on what happens to us, because all things, physical and spiritual, are vibrational in nature.

Sanskrit mantras (the word ‘mantra’ means ‘tool of the mind’ or ‘the language of human spirituality,‘)  when repeated over a period of time, cause a ‘shift’ in your consciousness.  As a result of this, you attract different results in your life whether that‘s in terms of health, relationships or anything else.

Vibrational Patterns

The particular sounds of Sanskrit mantra have been developed over a period of thousands of years, and their effectiveness is proven. What they do is ‘mould’ the energy of your mind and body. You could also think of them as powerful cleansing agents, loosening, dislodging and washing away any unwanted or toxic vibrational patterns which are trapped in your energy field.

The traditional way to use mantra is to chant it as many times as you can over a period of 40 days. You can either do this silently or out loud. You do need to be diligent and persistent with this, and don‘t anticipate any particular outcome; your healing may come about in ways that you can‘t foresee – be open to whatever presents itself to you!

Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha

Which is pronounced:

Om gum guh-nuh-puh-tuh-yei nahm-ah-ha.
