Methods of Manifesting
The following is a snapshot overview of the main methods of manifesting desires/altering your experience of life.
This is by no means a scientific study. It is based upon my personal experimentation with each method, and the various results I have recorded over a period of two years.
Take a look at what is presented here and see if the results you have recorded with each manifesting technique match up.
Method One
Imagining with Visualisation: Picturing something happening either in your current environment or some future environment (spending time with a loved one in some specific place, living the life of a multimillionaire). Can also be focused on an event occurring independent of any specific environment (a romantic kiss with some future lover, increase in business sales).
Visualisation takes place in first and third person perspectives. Centred on short or long term planning for changes in environment and experience. Visualisations always produced strong positive emotional feedback.
Trigger: Passive. Desires are chosen freely by subject — motivation is triggered primarily by self.
Projected average manifestation timeframe: anything from a matter of hours to between 6-12 months, depending upon whether you are seeking to alter aspects of your current environment or you are focusing on being in an environment existing away from your current one.
Method Two
Vision Board: Using pictures to aid the mental focus upon specific material objects of desire, and also changes in environment (a new car or home, or spending time in a beach setting). Centred on long term planning and predominantly focused upon outer material objects of desire, or environments far removed from the current environment of the vision board owner. A vision board is rarely used to focus upon changing emotional states – that is to say that we don’t normally assemble pictures of ‘smiles’ on a vision board in order to experience happiness.
Inner visualisation is largely ignored in favour of a focus upon the outer picture of the desire. There is little if any first and third person perspective involved. Very little emotional feedback is produced.
Trigger: Passive/Aggressive. Desires are chosen by subject — motivation is triggered primarily by self, but is also influenced by a dissatisfaction with outer environment and circumstances. Predominantly concerned with the feeling of ‘wanting’ as opposed to ‘experiencing’.
Projected average manifestation timeframe: Typically 6-12 months
Method Three
Affirmations: Using repeated mental statements to aid mental focus upon a desired change relating to self (I am rich, I am loved). Centred mostly upon changing personal circumstances in the ‘now’ moment. Predominantly focused upon self, but can also be applied to circumstances existing in immediate environment.
Affirmations are used to focus thoughts on a particular desire. Best results occur when used in conjunction with visualisation techniques and using the words ‘I Am…’ to start. Can produce strong emotional feedback, especially when using visualisation technique also.
Trigger: Passive/Aggressive. Desires are chosen by subject — motivation is triggered primarily by self, but can also be triggered by a strong dissatisfaction with outer environment or circumstances.
Projected average manifestation timeframe: a matter of hours to perhaps a week or two.
Why These Techniques Work
All of the techniques outlined above work because each one ultimately results in some form of measurement of a value that contributes to an inner sense of purpose (the continual measurement of purpose is the reason why we all exist)
For example, the visualising technique works because you are using your imagination to see yourself experience some circumstance or environmental factor that reflects and matches an inner sense of value, worth, comfort, or freedom – all values that contribute to your inner master measurement of having, experiencing, and expressing a positive sense of purpose.
Remember: these techniques can also be used subconsciously to measure values that contribute to a lack of inner purpose as well (by measuring things such as a lack of freedom, seeing yourself as being disrespected or unloved, or perhaps seeing yourself as poor or weak).
It is the master inner measurement of purpose that generates the coherent fields of resonance which influence other people around us, and our individual experiences of reality.
When some imagined circumstance or environment causes a positive contribution to our inner sense of purpose, strong positive emotional feedback is triggered – you feel good because the things you are imagining offer contributions to your inner measurements of purpose.
For example, let’s assume that you have been visualising spending time with some dream lover – having a lovely meal, taking a walk across a beach hand in hand at twilight, and then sharing a romantic kiss under the stars. The emotional feedback you record from this wonderful imaginal scenario is primarily love. You feel desired, wanted, appreciated, valued. Love is the ultimate value/measurement tied to an inner sense of purpose.
Our ability to generate resonant and coherent fields of influence – and thus our ability to alter our experiences of reality – is directly tied to how strongly we are measuring a sense of purpose, or a lack of purpose.
How do we know when we are generating the strongest possible field of influence associated with each measurement? The strongest emotional feedback associated with each measurement will be triggered – love for the ultimate measurement of purpose; profound emptiness for the ultimate measurement of a lack of purpose.
Vision boards appear to be the least effective method of manifesting because there is usually too much emphasis placed on outer material objects. There is also a reliance on looking passively at the pictures that make up the vision board as apposed to using the imagination to generate the objects of desire in the mind.
Vision boards tend to be visual shopping lists of material things we would like to own – outer values assigned to measurements of purpose instead of inner measurements tied to the self that trigger strong emotional feedback.
Affirmations can produce impressive success due to the nature of strong internalised statements that once again contribute to master measurements of an inner sense of purpose. Affirmations are commands, whether they are directed at the self or at some outside value, and being commands, they reflect an authoritative air of power.
Again, it is the generation of coherent fields of resonance that influence and shape reality, and the most resonant and coherent fields are generated via the strongest possible inner master measurement of a sense of purpose, or the sense of a lack of purpose.
