Aquarius Super Moon

On Sunday August 10, 2014 we will be blessed with the blooming of a Super Moon in individualistic Aquarius countered by the Sun in proud Leo. The Full Moon is a time of culmination, transformation & release. During the next few days the balance/counterbalance will be between how we view ourselves vs how others view us, who we are vs who we are asked to be & our private self vs our public self. This being a Super Moon (when the Moon is at it’s closest to us here on earth) the effects of the lunation will be even stronger.

The sign of Aquarius resonates keenly with the energy of eclecticism, out of the box thinking & sudden inspirations. Surprises should be expected as the Water Bearer loves to inspire & incite. Progressive changes, aha moments & leaps of faith will be the norm. The Sabian Symbols of this Full Moon is A man being unmasked at a masquerade which speaks strongly of being authentic, connecting with your inner heart & sharing the most real parts of yourself. Courage! There is also a sense of exoticness & exhibitionism to this Moon, she sparks a desire to bare yourself with joy & abandon.

We all wear masks, by design or by default. We are constantly asked to be this way, act that way or abide by standards shaped by others. Now is the time to break out of those bonds, end the charade & take off that mask. Honor who you really are, not who others want you to be. Go where you are your happiest, not where others tell you to go. Be the person that you really are, not who someone else thinks you should be.
