Accessing the Akashic Records

The Akashic Record is a universal library that contains a permanent record of all of our incarnations, including everything that we’ve said, thought and done during those incarnations. Accessing the Akashic Records is a great way to get to the bottom of why we do the things we do, why we’re afraid of certain things, why we experience chronic health issues and why we continue to attract the same relationship issues – romantic, friendship, and familial. Accessing these records is similar to doing research on the history of our soul, and its purpose is to help us make the most of our current incarnation.
The Akashic Records are a tool that we can use to expedite our spiritual growth and are also referred to as the Hall of Records and the Hall of Knowledge. There is no right or wrong way to retrieve information from them. The great psychic Edgar Cayce pictured himself as a dot of light. Some individuals go into a dream-like state and some liken the experience to remote-viewing while others simply receive a series of pictures in their minds. How we receive the information doesn’t matter; what matters is accessing information that will help us understand ourselves better so we can make better choices and move ourselves forward spiritually.
The following meditation to access the Akashic Records has been channeled by my guides Akhnanda and Selena. As you work with this meditation, please keep the following in mind: Be patient. If you get nothing the first or second time, don’t give up. Patience and perseverance are key when it comes to developing spiritual growth tools.
Accessing the Akashic Records Meditation
Sit upright or lay down, whatever is most comfortable for you.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply.
Inhale and exhale (3X).
Begin to relax each part of your body, beginning with your head.
Feel your head and neck relaxing as you continue to breathe deeply and exhale deeply

Your so called “akashic” records is nothing more than a work of fiction from a tv show.
My guess is that you do not realize that there have been references to the Akashic Records for far longer than there has been television. You may not believe in them, but you really ought to do a little research before you speak out.

Actually less than 100 years before tv. Not as long ago as all that. What are you trying to pull?
My take on things comes from the scriptures, not a bunch who think they’re smarter, more informed, and more intelligent than God the Almighty.
Nothing is smarter, more informed, or more intelligent than God the Almighty, if you want to describe, or limit, God in that fashion. It is fairly easy, however, to be smarter, more informed and more intelligent than those who don’t think for themselves and that limit themselves to a modern translation of an ancient text. The Bible is the Word of God, not the words of God. A subtle but significant difference. Before you throw out scripture as your ultimate arbiter, perhaps you should study it more and cross-reference the meanings of different passages in the original languages. And don’t forget to include the Apocrypha.

I HAVE COMPARED ALL ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS, AND COMPARED ALL EXISTING ORIGINAL TEXTS, AND TEXTS AS THEY ARE FOUND AND MADE AVAILABLE FOR STUDY. Very good! I guess in the modern age, Google is the first step towards knowledge. I will encourage you to actually read Blavatsky (although many find her difficult). Steiner is good also. The Akashic Records, are referenced by many names, through many schools (including Theosophy) but reference the same “understanding”. Plato referred to them as The Halls of Learning. Another reference is The Book of Life. The all refer to a spiritual library (for lack of a better term) where the records of a soul’s incarnation(s) are stored.
I would suggest, however, since OMTimes is a magazine, that you post comments on the original article, so that the author can respond to your questions.

First of all, calm down and stop yelling. Its rude and we don’t want you to stroke out in impotent anger. Seriously, if this sort of discussion takes you that far out of your comfort zone that you lose your composure, you probably ought not to be reading this type of article. Stick to Noah’s Ark and other children’s stories from the Bible.
Second, I would fully believe you if you said you had read the Bible for 40 years, but study it – I seriously doubt it. Study requires critical thought and you do not seem to apply it. Your statement that the Word of God is pretty clear to you and that most people cannot discern accurately what the scriptures say is exactly what I would have expected coming from you. You do realize, I hope, that during the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus never said, “Blessed are the self-righteous, for the only ones who can accurately understand my intent.”
If you were truly the scholar you claim to be, in 40 years you could have learned Greek and Aramaic and really studied the Bible. You do realize none of the original books were written in English?

It’s impossible to yell in the printed word. Are you nuts? Of course Pix thinks that the written word is violent. That’s impossible also. What planet do you two come from? It certainly is not Earth.
My mistake, Mike. I assumed you were upset.
