There he stands, all dressed up in a suit and bow tie. He is of dark hair and eyes. Holding out his hand towards me, we walk together up a spiral staircase made of marble with gold veins running through. I am dressed in gold, with silver heels and diamond earrings. We hear the sound of music playing on the piano- a peaceful tune, an original which could rival that of Beethoven. 

Before I know it, the staircase has turned into stars and we are walking on their dust, cascading upwards toward a door. This door is made of night but, it is glowing round the edges. He is still walking slightly ahead of me, gracefully leading me towards infinity with a smile.

I trust my guide. I know that he would never betray me. There is a bond with the source that he holds which ties to me. He has been appointed to me through many different lifetimes. He wants the best for me. He protects me with his angel feathers, lightly touching around me in a hug. 

How to connect with your spirit guides and angels

Below, I want to explain to you some of the techniques and tools that I have been given by my guide in order to strengthen our bond and connection. Because we are all different souls, as well as my angelic hero, who is of his own energy, we all react to situations quite different. It is truly about getting to know this presence in a positive and uplifting manner. 

It all begins in our D.N.A. coding. It is like an energy ladder, in which we can climb in order to awaken, envision and remember certain memories passed along through our bloodlines. I believe in multiple lives, whether we have lived them through thousands of years or just many lessons in the present one. We are generally tied to those whom we have karmic responsibility with.

There are many ways to trigger these codes of light from ourselves to read. The simplest one, that requires only your mind, is meditation or prayer. Starting here, we can forge our minds into a certain direction in which our angels guide us towards. 

Crystals
Crystals and stones of all kinds have taken millennia to form. They can start off as a simple water drop, encased in bone, like opal or grow from agate, like amethyst. Whatever the case, they hold this incredible gentle force, which sweeps over us, much like spirit. In turn, we release all negative emotions, which are young, naïve, ignorant and unwise to the presence of the Earth from long ago. 

This is much like being in the room with someone who has a profound energy, like a celebrity, leader or spiritual person. Our receptors and subconscious awaken to the heart of creation. The heart of the matter is within acknowledging which parts of you that you want to release and transform in this auric condition.  This energy resides in our heart of hearts.

Amethyst is immensely perfect for opening up our crown chakras, which connects us with the upper realms. Also, charge under a full moon and then placed beneath our pillows can create powerful healing messages while we sleep. Expect them to be emotional but transformational. Much like the purifying of stepping into a fire would burn but, is almost necessary in order to move and grow sometimes when we are stagnant. 

Clear Quartz is the best amplifier. It boosts the energy of any crystal you use and concentrates yourself towards a clear vision. Not only does it do this, but it also creates a bond with the spirit realm in and of itself. It acts as a fantastic channel for higher beings and helps you sense and commune with those spirits.

Selenite is probably my favorite crystal to use while preparing to communicate with higher realms. I primarily use it to cleanse my aura, but it is a fantastic aid for spirit interactions as well. It has a property much like moonstone, where when the rain is coming, gray and rainbow tones appear within. 

Obsidian and Smoky Quartz are both very dark, representing the Earth and the dead, which reside here. The power is good for communicating with phantoms and those in another form. They enrich our shadow sides, so that we may feel complete, whole and see into the darkness.

Celestite opens your connections to higher realms. It strengthens your mind to higher beings, particularly angels. A very soothing stone, it can gently transition you into heavenly places and help you bring back important messages from these realms.

A deeply purifying and cleansing stone, Phenakite has a powerful vibration which radiates for long measures around the body. It can help you download information from higher realms. It helps access the Akashic records. It is a multidimensional healer.

Herkimer Quartz diamonds are great for healing pain. This can be done with it’s positive, reaffirming and gorgeous divine light. It provides tuning into different people, environments or groups. They provide instant energy for a multitude of psychic workings. They are said to be the most powerful of all quartz crystals.

Pendulum 
The pendulum is a weight linked to a chain, like a necklace but usually made of larger stones which are known to bring positive energy to our intuition. It is held loosely in the hand, up high by the third eye, while the stone crosses the heart chakra. There are many techniques to cleanse, program and use this object. 

While most are used by psychics, it is known to help all to harness there subconscious. The pendulum works by moving in geometric patterns to reveal symbols, interpretation of yes and no, in a specific manner. It is thought that the higher self-controls the strength of the body naturally by automatically replying to the truth in similar patterns. 

To measure the accuracy of use, it is recommended to practice for many years to gain insight and experience. This is due to the development of clairvoyant abilities as well as balancing and grounding so that we understand how emotion can take charge and overpower us easily, resulting in the answer which we want to hear. 

The Visions
The easiest way for spiritual communication is through our dreams. This is because we are already in a trance, or meditative state, making it quite easy for the records of our soul to be accessed without us wondering about all the details. It will just come to us. 

Think of the river of life. It is pumping through us much like the heart of our spiritual purpose. When I think of the river, I can hear it calling. It starts to shift into a sound that beckons me as it moved over the surface of the ground as a force of nature. Follow that sound as you fall into sleep.

If you spend too long at the river, you will forget why you came and leave without knowing. Don’t take from the water without giving back because it is always in fluid motion. Our emotions are tied to sounds and shapes of this place where we can access our subconscious. This is the nature of spiritual remembrance. 

Angel Feathers
I light a white candle and close my eyes. I reach out towards heaven with my arms but, they do not work to lift me up. I put my hands together in a prayer. I contemplate about my halo, which is the connection between the realm I reside in and the spiritual one and I am enraptured by the thoughts of how to grow my feathers. Then, it dawns on me that I can be lifted up by the help of a divine force. 

This angel, who can give me messages in my dreams and beyond is within me. The other angels of Heaven do reach around me, in order to remind me that even though here my wings do not fly, there’s do and we can ascend together as one being in love. The ribbons of light wrap around me and then I succumb to the magic.

He places his hands into mine as we lift into the sky. Even though I have forgotten all the small details, I can remember his bow tie. A black silk ribbon, with his energy placed all over it. His essence, touch and power secured nicely. I love him because we all need someone we can trust and I do believe in him.
