Obama and Erdogan unfit for War and Peace issues – A. Hany Hassanain

The Middle East is the game but some players are unfit for deciding war and peace issues however the failure of their plans stressing on them to fire the first bullet. Both men want Islamists to rule the region for very different and contradicting reasons. If their plans succeeded they would find themselves confronting each other.

Ragab Tayb Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister who dreams of a new Caliphate in Turkey or even half Turkey only then he thinks that other countries will celebrate him as the new Caliphate of Moslems. Why is it half Turkey? Because the Kurdish will declare the independence war the day his army engages in the Syrian war. Ideologically, Erdogan is a Moslem Brotherhood who does not value the borders or the area much. The nation for him is the idea not the country. He believes that if the Kurds declared their country now, the International Moslems Brotherhood can topple the government there and another Islamist one will take over and it will be loyal to the Caliphate in Istanbul after some time; perhaps years, decades or even centuries; that is also of little importance for him. Therefore, dividing Turkey or changing borders is just a event in the long road of the Islamist Empire that is present in the minds of the International Moslem Brotherhood organization. The evidence is he supported the new Middle East project and considered him and his country a solider to achieve it although the map has a Kurdish state that will cut about thirty to forty percent of the Turkish territories. He wanted Islamists rule Syria and Egypt or even parts of the two countries at any cost. He is ready to send his soldiers to fight for that. Now, one should ask about the reasons that motivate a prime minister to breach his country and to disintegrate its land intentionally. First, it is the ideology that makes him faithful to the idea not to nation. Second, politicians want history to tell about them and if the grandiose complex affected them with other medical or psychological causes they may do anything. Nero burnt Roma. The medical condition of Erdogan may lead to another irritable and unstable man who has the authority to wag wars. The Western intelligences know that Erdogan suffers from cancer and the disease and the medications affect his stability and his ability to take decisions;

Across the Atlantic in the White House Obama licks his injuries after he paid eight billions to the impeached president Mohamed Morsi and his gang to buy forty percent of Sinai desert to annex it to Gaza strip to create an alternative state for Palestinians. The Egyptian Judge Tahani Al-Gebali showed the document and the impeached president is now being investigated for high treason. Of course Obama fears the scandal and always asks for Morsi’s release even after some of the American media as Washington Post and Fox News cleared that people revolted against him and the Egyptian army saved Egypt;

In his last speech about Egypt, the White House broadcast a recorded one to avoid presspersons question and to hide the facial reaction of the president. But his monotonous voice told much about his efforts to control his reactions. The depressed Obama who is anxious about exposing scandals may also burn everything.

Now Obama insists on going to war in Syria and he asks the Pentagon to be ready for military options. The most important question is what is after bombing Syria? If the two thousand armors of the Syrian infantry were destroyed what the new rulers in Damascus would do? First they have to attack Israel and to talk about Jerusalem or they will lose the support or their fundamentalists. The CIA might have deals with the bosses but the control over the fundamentalist youth needs animosity with Israel. Hence balkanization of the Levant including Israel for many years to come will be the result. Another possibility is the uncontrollable suicidal attacks against Israel fulfilling the prophecy of Brzezinski that foul decisions under the stress of both economic crisis and strategic failure will drive America out of the Middle East and Israel will follow its protector.

In policy and economics there is what is called the invisible hand. Whether it is the intelligence or some unknown persons who control the state secretly or some strategists who find a way or another to motivate the power centers to correct the top decision making process by different methodologies. The only hope to save the region and to correct decision to reflect the needed compromise between interests is that these invisible hands in Turkey and US are alert for the craziness of Obama and Erdogan.
