War On Syria: Latest Military Movements (Map)
I am seeing reports on Twitter that the BBC has said that the 2 russian warships that I assume are joining the Russian Mediterranean Squadron, 12 ships total, were sent out there to ‘protect Syria’. I cannot confirm this, I have notbeen able to so far at least so take that with a grain of salt. There is alot of misinformation, hype and war propaganda to sift thru. One astounding development that has turned out to be true though is Saudi Arabia’s threat of terrorist actions against Russia if they do not stop their support of the Assad regime. Why Syria is so important to both Saudi Arabia and Russia im not sure but the Saudis offered Russia more or less control of the oil industry and threatened to unleash terror attacks on the 2014 Sochi olympics and Russia said no, we will stick with Assad. Perplexing right? Saudi Arabia has control of elements if not all of the salafist, jihadi militants fighting in Russia in the North Caucasas region which Sochi is just outside on the Black Sea coast. So as far as that development goes, if Sochi is hit with attacks, we will know who to blame. Will the west then stand up to Saudi Arabia, tthats an emphatic no, but more importantly, will Russia.. -Mort

This is not a war USA should be involved in. We have no interest in that country and helping the Brotherhood who hates us is wrong. The rebels already confessed accroding to BBC news that they were responsible for the chemical attack which they claimed was accidental because they mishandled it, not knowing what it was. For Pres. Obama to save face because of his warning, he should say: that in light of the current information that Assad is not the guilty party for the chemical attack which turned out to be accidental, he is bowing out of the conflict. There is nothing wrong with a little humility. Maybe he might even gain the respect of some people here and abroad. Attacking Syria will just exacerbate the problems in that region and could start WW111, which no one wants.
