Islamophobic? Are they serious????

 I’m annoyed by something.  I’m not usually a grammar nazi but during the last few weeks the mainstream media has begun using a term to describe persons opposed to Islamic immigration which is completely inaccurate and it’s being used on purpose in order to shame or insult the position of these people.

The dictionary description states “fear or hatred of” and this is just completely inaccurate.  One cannot be afraid of and hate using the same word.  

“PHOBIA” 

Defined as: a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation thatleads to a compelling desire to avoid it.

So if a “phobia” is a fear…and fear only…then how does the word “hatred” get added to the definition of Islamophobia?  

This misuse and misappropriation of the word “Islamophobia” is driving me insane.  It insinuates “fear” of muslims.  These people do not fear them.  They don’t like them.  There’s a serious line of difference between hate and fear, folks!   It’s being intentionally used to create a psychological manifestation of fear or shame for being afraid of muslims.  This is a total propaganda manipulation.

Call the sky red long enough and get enough people to repeat it and sooner or later, people who know it’s blue will begin to question their own perspective.  

The definition of “Islamophobia” has been intentionally created and then incorrectly defined in order to serve as a propaganda sword.  Next time someone calls the Germans and French and Americans islamophobes for not wanting terrorists in their country…set them straight.  The word is made-up and incorrectly defined.  It’s an eff’ing joke, quite honestly.  If it’s not, where’s the word for fear of Christians and Jews?  

Pay attention.  It’s the tiny little things they are killing us with.  Use your brain.  It is your best weapon.
