Temple of Ba'al Arch of Triumph erected in London Trafalgar Square April 19, 2016

A 2,000-year-old Syrian monument destroyed by Daesh militants has been recreated in London’s Trafalgar Square.

The 15ft scale model of Palmyra’s destroyed Triumphal Arch was made from marble using 3D technology from photographs of the original.

“It is a message of raising awareness in the world,” Maamoun Abdulkarim, Syria’s director of antiquities who was in London to watch the replica being installed, told the BBC.

“We have common heritage. Our heritage is universal – it is not just for Syrian people.”

There were lots of media reports that the Arch was not going to be erected, but unfortunately those reports were untrue the forces of evil have indeed Triumphed over the Arch of Triumph and put up in open defiance a replica of an archway that was dedicated to the worship of Baal the ancient Demon god.

The Arch that was supposed to be erected in NY on Wall Street on the same day, but those plans seem to be have changed and now there are reports according to Gizmodo;

The new two-thirds scale model of the Arch of Triumph has been built in London’s Trafalgar Square by the Institute of Digital Archaeology, reports the BBC. It will travel to New York and Dubai in the coming months, before being sent to Palmyra some time next year. It’s hoped it will be erected close to the site of the original.
