The chairman of the National Unity party, Minister Benny Gantz, commented on
the demonstration near the Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem, and said
that:

“The strength of the IDF and the spirit of the fighters are a significant
part of our ability to win the war – but the unity of the people is the key
to our future.

We cannot accept violence from any side, we must not accept ignoring police
instructions and breaking through barriers as we saw last night in
Jerusalem.

Protest is legitimate, the pain is also understandable, but the law and the
rules of the game must be respected.

We are brothers, one people, in one of its difficult moments – we must not
go back to the 6th of October 6″.
