Importance:High

Here is some feedback that I receive that I trust:

Victoria:
I was in the U.S .military for 30 years and the U.S. Navy for 24 years and retired out of Norfolk as an Intel Officer.
I can tell you, having lived in Virginia Beach for 12 of those years (30 minutes to the Naval Base) that
having five U.S. carriers in port at one time,IS CREATING THE PERFECT TARGET.
Such a move is insanity….unless you are TRYING to ‘set up the Navy’ for a missile attack.
Now, who what ‘American’ president or CINCUSNAV would EVER do such a thing.
Three guesses and the first two just don’t count.
Hint: He has three vowels in his name and if you rearrange the letters they spell USURPER.

Dr. Tom (LCDR, USN-ret)

Victoria, don’t know if you are aware but this problem is compounded by the fact that the Thimble Shoals channel is about a 45 minute to an hour transit to open ocean from NOB Norfolk. Thimble Shoals channel can be easily blocked with sunken ships, bottling up every other ship in port. At least at Pearl Harbor, ships not sunk or damaged could escape to open ocean, like they could from Mayport. Why don’t they put a nuc carrier here? Hmmmm.
JK

Victoria,
This was verified by two people who do not know each other and who each have sons serving in the Navy, one each on two of these carriers.

What is wrong with this picture?
The picture is of the five nuclear carriors.
Just like Battleship Row, Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.
This picture was taken the other day in Norfolk. The Obama Administration ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for “routine” (?) inspections. Heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the directive.
NORFOLK, VA. (February 8, 2013). The first time since WWII …that five nuclear powered aircraft carriers were docked together.
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) are all in port at Naval Station Norfolk, Va., the world’s largest naval station.

Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid massive enemy strike on major US forces. (U.S. Navy photo by Chief Mass Communication Specialist Ryan J. Courtade/Released)

So! Norfolk will be the target for an Al Ciada NUCLEAR BOMB?
If you live in NORFOLK or close by, get the Hell out of there!

HAARP can steer that fallout all up along the E Coast- Philly, DC, NY, Boston… the most densely populated US corridor. Fukushima took out the W Coast, this will do in the East.

Best Admiral ever. Put half of your Nuclear Aircraft Carrier fleet in the same place. War on terror? What a joke!
They either don’t care or maybe the threat level chart is not that high. Stupidity knows no boundaries. Wake up and smell the coffee people. It is a sad and scary state of affairs, once they just don’t care that people can see right through their BS.

Add the fact that all F-35 are also grounded and I wonder if America is being set up for an enemy invasion / WAR!

Before posting or getting your bug-out bag..do 2 things check snopes (although I don’t fully trust them) and google image search! :)

      • Idiot Proof

Seriously, you didn’t find out years ago that snopes is a left wing disinfo site? I see you qualified your comment with the fact that you o’t FULLY trust them, I am suggesting to you, that there is no reason whatsoever to trust them at all…In fact, there are very few sites in all of the dot com world that I would advocate full trust for, even this one…double and tripple check each and every story, get multiple opinions, formulate your own conclusions from as much verifiable data as you can manage to obtain.

        Snopes? Big Time NOPEs!

This husband and wife team backed by zionists has no more reason to be a source for anything than does Debka. Beyond their questionable backing- they have no more expertise on any subjects of importance than do you or I. Hell, You’d be better off checking snope’s cousin, Sorcha Faal. LOLOL

        • ElOregonian

FactCheck.org is much more reliable and accurate. Snopes is a joke. Their undying affection for “Der Leader” is self evident.

      • Intelharvest

Snopes is the longest joke ever told on the Internet. When you invoke them in a debate or exchange of ideas, expect to be laughed at and not taken seriously. They’re a leftist propaganda arm, and have a lot of easy to prove misinformation on their site. Anything Snopes says needs to referenced with 3 neutral sources for authenticity. Chances are, Snopes is lying, misleading, deflecting, or twisting an argument.

Russia has never been America’s friend. Didn’t one of their top leaders just say they might / will use nukes against America, if we attack North Korea, Iran, China or Syria??

Why has Obama and our top military brass, approve training for 6000 Russian troops in Denver? Being trained by OUR Soldiers!!!! I smell rats!!!!!?

      • Idiot Proof

The truth about the leadership of both countries would surprise you. How long the two countries have been very close friends would shock you. The entire cold war was theatrics, as much as the Right vs Left paradigm is fake WWE type politi-drama. Research how long the US CORPORATION that poses as a government, has supported oppressive communist regimes and for how long. Research how the US aristocracy supported both Hitler and Mao…When you understand and consider that the leadership of the US has been in the pockets of the Rockefeller/Rothschild banking cabal, it makes perfect sense that they supported communism before foisting upon us here at home…
There have been Russian, Chinese, Serbian, and many other foreign troops training here in the US for many years now…It is pretty openly acknowledged by many insiders, military personel, whistle blowers, bloggers, etc. But, you are 100% correct that you smell rats, lots of big evil crooked corrupted NWO supporting rats, we need a good EXTERMINATOR!

“Super” powers are like the WWF.

If government where against each other throats, they wouldn’t allow common commerce. Nor would there will be speaking about a NWO under UN control.

No, the mafias on top pretty much control the countries.

Read 1984. Government need enemies and wars so that they can fully control their populations. And has long as the elites are not targeted directly they have no problem killing their citizens.

    • emanondad

Why does this surprise anyone. We all know that Obama has never had a job in his life, much less having run any kind of business, and has never served a day in military duty of any kind. And on top of that he and his family live a life of luxury and million dollar vacations while at the same time he blames all the country’s troubles on the “rich” and keeps taxing them more while he and congress pass laws to exempt themselves from most of what they legislate onto us. Not to mention that he kills a lot of innocent people every week with all the drone attacks. Must be nice to live a double standard when you control all the rules.

On Feb25th 2013 I was returning from Portsmouth VA and on my way back in I noticed the masts and antennas on the towers of the above mentioned carriers. I’m retired NAVY and I quickly thought this was very very odd to see them all lined up and in port at the same time. Upon arriving at base I drove down to the pier strip and just drove by to confirm I was not nuts and sure enough there they sat. With the mothballing of the Enterprise folks this is HALF of our carrier flagship fleet all tied up in a tidy row. I have NEVER seen this during my career. In my opinion this is HIGHLY unusual and very dangerous. I pray to God this is not a setup! With the air wing on one of those vessels they comprise of roughly 6000 people without such as when they are in port about 2500 people for the watch schedule. That is 10000 sailors between the 5.

    • SH60Wife

This picture was actually taken in mid-December, not this month, and none were ordered into port for “routine maintenance.”

The USS Enterprise was retired from the Navy in January. It’s being dismantled.

The USS Eisenhower deployed on Thursday and is on its way to the Middle East to relieve the USS Stennis, which will return to its home port on the West Coast. The Eisenhower was in port for two months to get its flight deck resurfaced.

The USS Harry Truman was to depart on a mission to the Central Command in early February, but Navy officials asked the secretary of defense to cancel that mission, which presumably was to the Persian Gulf where the U.S. has had two aircraft carriers. Now it will have one — the Eisenhower.

The USS Bush was not ordered into port for “routine inspections.” It had been undergoing tests of its ability to have aircraft, which it does not presently have. Its cruise was canceled because of the sequester.

The USS Lincoln also was not ordered into port for routine maintenance. It was in port for a two-year refueling mission, which the Navy has now canceled because of the sequester cuts.

Here is the article from our local paper:

Home for Christmas: 9 Flattops at Norfolk naval base, December 20, 2012.

With the returns from deployment of the carrier DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER on Dec. 19, and the amphibious ships IWO JIMA and NEW YORK on Dec. 20, the piers at Norfolk’s naval base are about as full up as they’ll ever be.

Five aircraft carriers, four big-deck amphibious assault ships, a full cast of “small boy” surface warships, along with nuclear submarines and support ships, are crowding the base, giving a comfortably snug feeling to the waterfront. Similar scenes — although not with the gathering of flattops seen here — are taking place at other fleet concentration areas like San Diego and Pearl Harbor.

The Navy makes a point of trying to gives its shipboard crews a chance to spend Christmas with their families, and for a few days the percentage of ships underway drops to the lowest point it will be all year. But many of these ships will be gone in two weeks as the pace of operations picks up again.

In a decade or so, scenes such as this at Norfolk could become quite rare, as the fleet is in the midst of a gradual shift from the Atlantic to Pacific. Within a few years, about sixty percent of the U.S. Navy’s ships will be homeported at a Pacific base – virtually a mirror image of the Cold War emphasis on the Atlantic.

The Navy also says the story about this being the first time so many carriers were moored together since Pearl Harbor is untrue.

Not surprisingly, the story was changed, the picture was attached, and the Internet did its thing.

      • The Hot Gates

I see admirals and politicians playing politics with our national security.

There was absolutely no reason to put five or six carriers in the same port, at the same pier, at the same time. None. Zero. Zip. Nada. It was stupid and it was dangerous. The inmates are in charge of the asylum. This wasn’t just stupid. It was crazy stupid. Insanity.

(btw, ‘sequester’ doesn’t cut their operating budget. It cuts – a wee little bit – from their future increases in budget. iow, they’re still getting a ‘pay raise,’ but they’re complaining that they aren’t getting as big a ‘pay raise’ as they thought.)

wrt related issues, we’ve got over six hundred bases in foreign countries, not including embassy guards or military bases in the US. In the US, alone, the DoD has over 800,000 civilian employees. The total is over 900 bases around the world.

If we need a military like that, the largest and most advanced military in history, we’ve done something wrong, somewhere, folks.

The Founders thought, for good reason, that having a large standing military was a very bad idea.

We’re doing something wrong, somewhere, folks.

That said, putting half of your most dangerous and most effective naval forces in the same port at the same time, is insanity.

        • HereAmI

This of course is not usually done for reasons of insanity, but for reasons of policy.
The obvious example being PH, where quite a few old battleships were obligingly demolished by the Japanese, at the suggestion / prompting of President R ( name witheld for legal reasons. )
But no-one would be silly enough to fall for this particular sacrificial gambit. The Russians are renowned for producing the world’s best chess players, Bobby Fischer excepted, of course.

        • The One

Our Navy is part of the NWO global police force. Our tax dollars are financing the global conquest. If you want to know why the world is running headlong into global tyranny then just look into a mirror! YOU ARE THE NEW WORLD ORDER AMERICA! How does it feel to be aiding and abetting traitors and foreign powers hell bent on global domination. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!

        • Idiot Proof

The One, I am not my government. Do you understand that? I am not part of any NWO, and I resent that accusation, it is an abject insult to my sensibilities and to my being a Patriotic Constitution LOVING American, as I am sure most Patriotic Americans would feel the same way after reading that stinking spewtum of a comment, awake or asleep. Those of us who are aware do not support what the Corporation that poses as a government does to us or the rest of the planet, those who are not aware, are not actually to blame for that, or for what the Corporation that poses as a government does. Blame the actual people making the decisions and following orders to impliment them. Start with the CFR, then go to the Oval orifice, congress, BOTH HOUSES, the SCOTUS, Justice Dept, FBI, CIA, NSA, JCoS…how do you find a way to blame the American population for what those groups of inhuman pieces of excrement do unto others?

      • Whiskey Zero

Good points. The budget cuts will probably have a big impact on this. Ridiculously expensive to run these massive ships especially when your devaluing the coin of the realm.

      • Idiot Proof

If you were a representative of an enemy nation, and was looking at a satellite photo of that shipyard, would you really care what the circumstances around the 5 carriers being docked like that were, or, would you be more interested in siezing the opportunity to create an incident, keeping in mind, that both the Chinese and Russians have subs that have been in our waters undetected in the recent past couple of years, so they have the capability to attack and inflict severe damages, and still retain plausible deniability, as in, it would be potentially difficult to positively identify the attackers…

This is half the Navy’s nuclear aircraft carrier fleet. I wonder if this is in preparation for Friday’s “sequestration,” which will chop government services, including its most expensive one — the armed forces. http://www.newsmax.com/US/Obama-debate-aircraft-carrier/2012/10/30/id/462127

Military tactical madness or stupidity, Then advertising it on the internet even worse! Why are they still there?

Is that a Tarawa-class help/av-8b carrier with them, too? We still have one active.

    • arpes

Maybe Obozo fired the captains and told them to bring the company cars back!!!!

    • JacksReport

This is completely against standing US Navy policy. My ex was in the Navy in the late nineties and serviced aircraft that were carrier based. She did not serve on the carriers because her husband at the time did. And it was always policy to prevent carriers from being bunched up like that as such a hit to our forces could inhibit our operations overseas for years. Carriers take years to build even in good conditions…much less during war time. This is unacceptable. Were these here for repairs, it’s one thing…but not for routine procedures. No Navy personnel in their right mind would do something this stupid. Does anybody know how long they’re going to be docked like this?

    • JAppleseed

These are being outfitted for all out war. do you see the cargo containers on the one carrier? Refueling, restocking and armed with enough nukes to get the job done right and completely destroy the world.

They have received intelligence that those nuclear carries might be targeted in the event of a war. this also goes to prove how close we are to a war…..

    • The One

Carriers and most surface naval vessels are obsolete in modern warfare. Unless used against third world countries that cannot launch a thermonuclear cruse missile to destroy the entire battle group! So the point is moot unless an attack would be for a false flag to attack Iran?

    • Idiot Proof

I’m just going to put it all out on the table right now with this one sensible reasonable logical question:

How and why would ANYONE be STUPID enough to put all those Nuclear Aircraft Carriers, in one place, at the sametime, if not as an invitation, or as a setup, for a full on attack to destroy a MAJOR portion of our Naval fleet? I mean, WTF doesn’t even begin to sum up how suspicious this is…  :!:

    • Wphillips

Does anyone realize Enterprise has been decommissioned…..not that even having FOUR in at one time is risky….

    • Robbie

I knew we would get to the truth. Those who say they know say the ships were there for Christmas or maybe because of the sequester but they do this all the time.

    • Starvin\' Marvin

The extent of America’s debt is such that budgetary requirements prohibit the proper re-fit and re-fueling of these vessels. If you don’t believe our place in the world is sinking further and further in direct correlation to the length of the Obama Presidency, you had better look again. The budget cannot support the Military Spending now authorized by congress for the “effective” maintenance of the Armed Forces, and our potentially greatest enemy holds substantial amounts of debt as Bonds. The fact is, due to long-term influence by the financial sector, Goldman Sachs and the I.M.F. are in effective control of the US Congress. Much the same as any other country which has allowed sovereign debt to out-pace the ability to produce, the US now has few viable options which will preserve a free-market economy; one of which is yielding to fully implemented austerity.
The loss of supremacy at sea will impact directly the ability of this country to DEFEND itself, but has little to do with perpetuating the projection of power by the Obama Administration.

    • Danger Boy

One discrepancy the USS Enterprise is in port forever, she is being Decomissioning her, so she will never return to sea. That explains why she is there.

    • johndjr

I didn’t have a chance to read all the comments before posting so I apologize if this has already been posted.

Yes, you see five carriers – ENTERPRISE will never go to sea again – she is tied up waiting to be decommissioned. IKE was there waiting to get underway and is currently enroute to complete here deployment that was suspended for urgent maintenance. LINCOLN is waiting to go to Newport News Shipbuilding for scheduled overhaul. TRUMAN’s deployment was postponed pending resolution of the budget crisis in Washington, DC and BUSH will be going through work-ups for her next deployment.

Not nearly as desperate a situation as initially reported, but if anyone wants a reason to worry, please direct your attention to the folks in Washington, DC, who can’t seem to figure out why they are there!!! That’s the real tragedy here!!

    • Anonymous

Well the ‘object’ is now very close and the cabal think (wrongly) that carriers might be useful as escape arks for those who didnt get a ticket for the deep underground.

The comments section here (and the story above) just proves that the Government is right about sites like this… they spread rumor and fear.

Out of the 60 comments here, only 2 people bothered to do a simple search to see if this was true or false.

Of course, as per the method of the madness, it was false. We complain that the mainstream media is demonizing the “alternative” media, yet posts like this just prove that they are correct.

I’m sure Bill Cooper is rolling over in his grave with this type of Alex Jones reporting.

      • concerned citizen

Did you read the comment where the guy saw this with his own eyes three days ago? What type of research do you do? I fact check everything, and I challenge you to give me one instance that Alex Jones has reported on false information. You may not like his personality, and he may sound like a pro wrestler, but his information is correct.

    • skyguy66

It’s not that the Navy is now cost cutting and holding back the fleet simply because of expenses related with the sequester.

    • Anonymous

We had no nuke ships in WWII – but we DID have an old, obsolete fleet the replacement cost of which it was hard to justify to Congress – until it was bombed all to hell and sunk! THIS fleet is NOT obsolescent; not to needing total replacement. There ARE, however, sailors and Marines who are true, loyal patriots (classed as terrorists by DHS); There are loylaty checks with personnel, I;ve been told, of those who work with nuclear technology. These are people who might have a problem with orders to fire on Americans or American cities. There are Intel services, the Mossad and other, newer services, plus NATO and UN troops (with nearly half a mllion each already IN the U.S.) who would have no problem with such orders. It would also remove a lot of retaliation capabilty. Not to mention the removal of some of the most likely resisters of a takeover of the U.S. by ANY foreign power. I wish they recognized that we HAVE been taken over by a foreign agent: Obama! Three Social Security cards, none his, and his “current” one a dead man’s; no non-forged birth certificate; and a videotaped confession on YouTube that he’s from Kenya. God help our people on those ships – and us! And not a soul in Congress willing to abide by the Oath they took and impeach him, nor will any appointee, especialler the A.G.! We are now :in deep, deep trouble! I think TSWHTF within weeks, maybe even just days! Can we POSSIBLY have so many traitors in the government that a traitor in the White House is unstopable?? Where the hell IS everyone who swore to defend this country?? I wonder if several cities worth of Americans just showed up and quietly surroounded D.C., would THAT make an impression? No violence, no threats, maybe just a sign or two. Maybe a few hundred recalls all at once of those who will not act and the votng in of some who WILL?

If something doesn’t get done very soon, it may just be all over but the dying. OURS.

5 Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carriers To Remain In Norfolk Until 2020

The announcement that there will continue to be 5 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in the Hampton Roads region through 2020 came Monday from the congressional delegation.

    • Nuttin but the truth

      Here we go again….

CLAIM: “This picture was taken the other day in Norfolk.”

STATUS: False – The photo was indeed taken at Norfolk Naval Station, but it was on or about December 20, 2012.

CLAIM: “The Obama Administration ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for ‘routine’ (?) inspections.”

STATUS: False – None of the five carriers were ordered to Norfolk for inspection. The USS Enterprise was deactivated in December. The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower was in Norfolk for two months to have its flight deck resurfaced. The USS Harry S. Truman was awaiting February deployment to the Fifth Fleet. The USS George H.W. Bush completed a major overhaul in December and was undergoing flight tests. The USS Abraham Lincoln was awaiting departure for a refueling overhaul in Newport News.

CLAIM: “The first time since WWII that five U.S. aircraft carriers were docked together.”

STATUS: False – On July 4, 1997 five nuclear carriers — USS George Washington, USS John C. Stennis, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, USS Theodore Roosevelt, and USS Enterprise — were all docked in Norfolk at the same time.

CLAIM: “Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid massive enemy strike on major US forces.”

STATUS: False – I have found no record of any such statements, nor mention of any such “military protocol” in official or media sources. The last time an event like this occurred (July 1997), a Navy spokesman (Mike Maus) was quoted by Associated Press as follows:

Watch out folks, its John Rolls and he is already outted as a disinfo guy. So why is he putting this up? FEAR, FEAR, FEAR…… they are having a terrible time trying to get us to be violent, so they can declare martial law.

Keep this in mind. If Obama’s foreign handlers touch one hair on the heads of those 5 ships sailors, that is first degree murder and that is a felony which automatically puts O in jail. Second of all, it negates impeachment, which is good, since we can then overturn all his EO’s and bills he signed. Then Biden has to redo them and we get a second chance to beat up on him.

This is not as bad as it looks. It would be the biggest mistake they have made so far and they have made plenty, that is why they are still behind schedule and damn sure running out of time. They cannot get that marial law unless we do something violent. HOLD YOUR WATER AND DO NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKES using fear as your driver. If it had been anybody else but Rolls, I would be concerned. They want us to know Obama did that, now why?

Stay out of fear, use your critical thinking skills and ask why did those bankers make Obama do that? He gives no orders, rather his handlers do, so why did they tell Rolls so he could tell us??? Notice that shot is from a helicopter and not from someone on the ground??? So who would let a helicopter fly anywhere near 5 nuclear ships????

Here’s a picture that’s picking up steam around the Internet today. A picture of five aircraft carriers in port in Norfolk, Virginia. The chances are pretty good it’s going to show up in your Facebook feed soon.

The accompanying message is only partially correct:

What is wrong with this picture?
The picture is of the five nuclear carriers.
The first time since WWII that five (*) aircraft carriers were docked together.
What’s the real story? Welcome to the sequester.
First, the picture was actually taken in mid-December, not this month. Second, none was ordered into port for “routine maintenance.”

The Truman’s situation is particularly interesting. WTVR TV in Richmond described what happens to people when a deployment is canceled.
Families depend on deployment money to pay bills. Many move home for family support. They are already gone.
Single sailors with children already sent their kids to caretakers.
Many sailors moved out of apartments or homes, have cars in storage and already set up mortgage and phones and bills. This will be a tough adjustment.
Since they are now cancelled, only delayed indefinitely, they could have to leave suddenly if the budget impasse is solved.
The Navy is asking for community help for these 5,000 sailors, giving leniency on bills.
Living arrangements, help with temporary storage, temporary transportation…many of them do not have local family or a support system.
But back to the photo: It originally was paired with a U.S. Navy story about sailors coming home for Christmas:

I know im late on this but fyi. Yes they were there. All pretty as you please like a beacon to evil plotters everywhere! How do i know? My husband serves on the eisenhower. The unlucky recipient to the sequester and other ships ( not naming names! ) inability to maintain their propulsion systems. So, becouse the navy decides to award yes men instead of those who can ACTUALLY DO their jobs. My kids have to go without dad while the other ship with said. Slackers, stays home. But its obvious that is how america works. Right? Intelligence and hard work are not how to succeed anymore. Sorry , bit touchy. But yes they were there! Cvn 69 not anymore though . :(
Ive already made my family a commitment that if “this’ gets out of hand.. We won’t be just changing zip codes but country codes as well . Thank goodness retirement ( if the military doesnt steal that too!!)is this year!
