Blue Falcons of the Year

Everyone who took a whiff of malodorant American swamp knows that diffused from the left or from the right-it reeks all the same. Here we are-in the midst of electoral battle, because as we´ve learned the hard way, we have to fight anew for our right to vote, and swamp is rising a stink in more ways than one.

If Veterans are used to receiving free tickets to political circus on “Veterans Day”, this November the compulsory invitation extended to all members of American public. With Democrats already high on own propaganda and busy preparing socio-economic Woodstock, the Republican party proves to be affected by “don´t waste your garbage” and “composting at home” principles. Inhaling promises of restoration or safe guarding of their pathetic thrones and sinecure, the participants of “Grab Taxpayers Dough” donkey and elephant show seem oblivious to the fact that “We elect, you shut up” style of “elections”, announcing the end of democracy does bother to every cognizant “commoner”. To play electoral baseball you need the whole set not just a Mitt, and it´s a simple fact- there will be no closure until “electoral discrepancies” are accordingly addressed.

“History has its eyes on us”-for once I can agree with Senator Romney, but our definition of a “gorilla in Republican party” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/nov/08/donald-trump-900lb-gorilla-republican-party-mitt-romney couldn´t be more different. In my experience the title of large primates is well deserved by thugs bullying elderly Veterans or issuing death threats to variety of defenseless, yet honorable deplorables. There are so many pseudo “Republicans” that still linger in the party´s dirty kitchen, that everybody can make his pick of the month. On Veterans Day, and also because he was to Veterans what Obama was to America, my choice must be ex VA secretary-Robert McDonald. The Republican who nostalgically kept his photo with Obama and Biden as a front page of his blog, has naturally already been selected to Biden´s “transition team” https://www.robertmcdonald.com/bob-mcdonald-selected-to-biden-transition-team/ . Yet another “prominent Republican”-George W. Bush or rather The George W. Bush Institute was “proud to announce the appointment of four Endowed Fellows to help further the mission to develop leaders, advance policy, and take action to solve today’s most pressing challenges.” Robert McDonald was one of the “endowed fellows” https://www.robertmcdonald.com/bush-institute-announces-endowed-fellows-to-advance-mission-and-broaden-enterprise/ and I´m sure some bonus-nostalgic VA´s swamp dwellers still can afford “Miss Muck Yet? “billboards.

Not sure if prestigious, but a very meaningful award: Blue Falcon of the Year will have to be shared by several  “composted” Republicans in 2020.If Mr. McDonald forgot what the value of the prize is, I´m sure some old buddies https://taskandpurpose.com/news/bob-mcdonalds-lies-special-forces-service-mean-efforts-fix-va from “Special Forces” are willing to translate it in terms of valor.
