Luxury 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUV Unveiled

Cadillac has enjoyed a great deal of success recently with its recent ATS and CTS models, and has chosen to follow these up with the new 2014 Escalade SUV. This luxury SUV has been given a significant update from past models, but is still recognizable as part of the Escalade tradition. Updates include a new box frame constructed from high strength steel, along with new features like Magnetic Ride Control. It’s worth taking a closer look at the Escalade’s latest options and features to see how it stacks up in Cadillac’s full line-up.

Exterior Updates

The first noticeable chances can be seen in the new Escalade’s shape, which is longer and sleeker. The revised exterior now comes with LED lighting, using vertically stacked crystal lenses along with LED lights to create a unique light pattern. The premium models will also have door handles lit up with these LED accents. The shape and fit of the doors has been altered to improve aerodynamics, while the hood and lift gate are now constructed out of aluminium.

Interior Updates

The most significant upgrades to the 2015 Escalade are visible once you open up the doors, however. There have been huge upgrades to the fit, finish, and materials of the dashboard and instrument panel. The new interior has wood trim and ambient lighting for a posh and sophisticated look that is a cut above previous models. New Technology

In addition to a full infotainment system, there will be a host of new safety features included in this Cadillac SUV using the best of modern technology. This includes automatic braking to the front and rear, using a combination of sensors and radar. The car can slow or even pull to a full stop if needed to avoid a collision. Another new feature is a front seat centre-mounted air bag, which will provide added protection both drivers and front passengers.Finally,the Escalade comes equipped with a new full Driver Awareness package, which includes warnings of lane departure, forward collisions, or other safety hazards. It also includes automatic seatbelt tightening and adaptive cruise control for a smoother, safer ride.

With a plethora of new safety features and a thoroughly luxurious new interior, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade looks to be quite promising at first glance. It will come in several trim levels, all with the new, sleek LED exterior lighting scheme. This should make it a standout option among rival SUVs next year, firmly in line with Cadillac’s existing standards.
