Video: Polaris Slingshot – (Snake) One Take

This is the Polaris Slingshot. From the front, it strongly resembles a KTM X-Bow, and from the back, it looks like, well, it hasn’t really been finished. It’s a three-wheeled motorcycle, not a car, which is important, because if it were a car, it couldn’t be sold for road use. (Texas, by the way, has decided that it is, indeed, a car not a motorcycle). It has a 173 HP, 2.4L GM Ecotec engine, a 5-speed manual gearbox, seating and basic storage for two, and the whole thing comes in at under 1700 lbs. And, like Polaris’ other recreational products, it’s completely waterproof so you can just hose the entire thing down to clean it.

We’d love to have more time with this crazy little trike, but Matt went on the press launch and got a few hours to test it out, so he hit up the snake for a quick one take film with a lovely lady named Jessica for a passenger.
