Fireball scoots the 2023 MAZDA CX-5 out of Gray and into COOL…

For Cars, Movies and Cool… it’s Fireball Tim!

You know, when you drive a car that’s cool despite the awkward and sometimes dull GRAY COLOR that seems to be percolating most cars these days… that says a lot. This is the 2023 MAZDA CX-5 Carbon Edition. (At least they gave the dull gray a cool name and not “Ash Gray” or “Moon Gray” or “My Dog Grady, Gray.”)

But you can see that MAZDA is heading into the right direction with their cars. Subtle, yet stern styling and eager to EV the crap out of them. Out of the box they work pretty well, but drop the car a couple inched, cool wheels, tint and have your PomaPooh stick his wee noggen out the window and you’ve gotta Slippery Freeway Buster that feels right.

The RED Interior feels like “GUTS” and is pretty comfy as you slide between the Liver and Kidney. (Not really sure they are next to each other, but makes for an interesting visual, eh?) Anyway, MAZDA continues it’s stride into the future with coolness as EVs silent themselves into the Poll Position and the CX-5 is a good choice for the Soccer Mom and Side Hustle Hustler. Do it…. DO it.
