I just came from the #Movies #Theater and saw #ARGYLLE #movie. I give it an A+ (#Thriller A+, #Believability D-, #Realism D-, OverTheTop #Action A+, #Storyline multi-faceted threads and sub-thread winding twists A-, other B-; now you may deduce that those parts do not average to that A+ sum, however we go to #Films for #FUN and #ESCAPEism (more or less))!

I LOVE and greatly enjoyed this #Film.

No, seriously, if you are like me you LOVE the big, way over-the-top crazy kind of Stunts, imaginative Storyline, massive Action (not just Fight scenes), you’re going to Love this too.

It was also great Fun for me to be able to strike (pun intended, you’ll see why it is coming) up a Conversation with a few others in the #Show (well, actually, just outside the Theater doors, outside the MJR Epic Theater room in Southgate MI, in the Hallway, obviously you don’t want to disturb those still sitting in the Cinema seats) about how that makes a GREAT MOVIE but a #book IMO should be more believable while #Reading and introduced them to my “Terror Strikes: Coming Soon to a City Near You” #Political #Terrorism #Thriller #HistoricalFiction (aka: #FACTion, blending #Facts and #Fiction) and was able to hand out a couple Cards about my #books. Had one even wanted to follow me out to my Car (I always keep copies with me) and bought an #Autographed copy while there in the Parking-Lot.

“Strike” – now you see the wordplay pun, where-as my book has lots of wordplay and double-meanings there-in (and a few puns, but not together LOL) like Strike up a Conversation, Strike up a tune, Strike as in Assault, and like “STRIKE” in the Title – Strike as in an Assault and Strike as in Balls and Strikes in Baseball as there is a Baseball sub-thread in it.

I had been waiting for this as an MUST SEE ON-SCREEN massive Blockbuster movie for a long time now since I had first seen the Preview/Trailer; obviously since I write Political-Thriller vs Action-Spy-Thriller still relevant and relatable in my mind. I do indeed LOVE major explosive SCI-FI fare on the Big-Screen too.

As an Author/Writer I really enjoyed/appreciated the ScreenWriters twists and turns and sub-plot play to really keep us on our guard of whether this going where we think it is or somehow some other direction?!?!?

clearly the #WOKE #casting. Like the last #Marvels #movie.
1 #Black Girl, 1 #White Girl, 1 #Hispanic Girl – WHY the #Asian hate?
The #Estrogen #SpiderVerse is born (guess #SpiderGwen wasn’t enough, and all about defeating the Evil #SpiderGuy (#SpiderBitchVerse, yes, just being insulting as a Joke)).
Shouldn’t the White #Girl been #Asian to complete the set to go with #DakotaJohnson as the #Female #White #Lead?!?!?
IF you can put aside the clear #DEI bullshit, it was an “OK” #film.
I give it a C-. I sure will NOT be seeing it a second time.
I will likely go see #Argylle for a 3rd time before I’d see this one a 2nd time.
And, really? The line “With great responsibility will come great Power” to link to the other #Spiderverse‘s “With great Power comes great responsibility” line. Spare me, what a #Joke, clearly trying way too hard there and #EpicFail in so far as that line goes.

Thx for the feedback on BrainDead1 episode (he will be on my Show soon for an already “Listener Feedback” mini-episode in next several weeks (end of February or early March 2024) when he wanted to react and talk about S1E13 “Censorship” Show) I indeed go for “thoughtful” (always, logic and reason and facts) though I have addressed that sometimes I may indeed get HOT/ANIMATED and sound more like raving lunatic (Leftist) at times (while “spirited” in “tone” and action – still using logic/reason/strategy but just a bit more “passionately” delivered (see related https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bc5yiLorRF0 1m YouTube Short on that))! LOL Thankfully those number of Shows are the exceptions and not the Rule. I am always going for “not the same ole talking-point takes of the usual suspect talking-head parrots” (there is Hannity and a million others for the same-ole bs parrot responses (though, not to say, sometimes a particular talking-point oft heard is not worth repeating too, but parroting cannot be one’s ONE TRICK (and sadly too many are just parrots (or One-Trick-Pony, if you prefer) with never any originality — AT ALL, EVER (at least if delivering the same basic “topics” have some reasonable different approach or other “angle” of delivery than same mono-tone talking-head resting face and voice))).
