Why Should Christians Celebrate a “Heathen custom”--Christmas?

Are we smarter than a 5^th grader? A 10-year old boy asked his teacher what Jeremiah 10:3 meant. It says,  “The customs of the people are vain. [The New International Version says “worthless. They cut a tree out of the forest…They adorn it with silver and gold.”] “Learn not the way of the heathen” verse 2, King James.

So where does Christmas come from? It’s really Christ-mass, and mass is the celebration of one’s death, and it comes from the Vatican, a Latin word that means “divining serpent” derived from Vatis = Diviner and Can = Serpent. Search Google Images for “Papal Crest, dragon” to see this image.

The celebration of the winter solstice is a pagan practice and shepherds were not in the fields watching their flocks in the winter night when the angels heralded Christ’s birth.

Christ’s birthday was probably on the Feast of Tabernacles–He came to tabernacle among us. It’s an 8-day feast and He was circumcised on the 8^th day. The papacy boasts of abolishing the “Jewish festivals” which were designed by God to teach truths in the plan of salvation and they were supported by statutes “forever” in Leviticus 23.

We might wonder if God forgot that those times would be “nailed to the cross” as some translations say. We are failing to see the Christian application of those times. As Christ ate the Passover with His disciples, He instituted n its place the communion (Lord’s Supper) that was to be the memorial of His death.

This supports communion on the eve of Passover as Christ celebrated it with His disciples. Done weekly, it becomes an empty form or custom, done by priests, many of whom are guilty of pedophilia or rape of nuns who become “the bride of Christ”?

Going to confession and paying the priest for the same sins over and over with no victory in the life is an abomination that desolates the faith of a believer. This is what Christ warned of in Mark 13:14–“when you see the abomination of desolation …standing where it ought not.”

The pope represents that system of abominations in Revelation 17:5 and he was standing where he ought not, in the US Congress four years ago. He ought not to be there because the US Constitution says, “Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion.”

The pope came with his answer to climate change–Laudato Si’ . It’s about closing businesses on Sunday for family values and the blessings of the Eucharist.  Catholic Church attendance is down more than most groups, but forcing Sunday on everyone when there’s NO biblical support will mean a repeat of persecution, Dark Ages.

That’s in the warning against the UN–New World Order is an image or look-alike to Old World Order when the people died in Europe for heresy of having a Bible in their home, as Foxe’s Book of Martyrs or D’Aubigne’s History of the Reformation showing about 68 million were martyrs, burned that the stake (Auto de Fe means “Act of Faith”) etc.

We don’t think that could happen again in our enlightened age? Look at Rwanda just 25 years ago. There were so many UN vehicles on the streets of Kigali, that “if you spit, you would hit one,” but they were all ordered to stand down and let the local government handle it. The local government was Catholic and nearly a million Protestant Tutsis were slaughtered by their neighbors. And Pope John Paul said “sorry…”

We should not hate anyone, not even the pope–Christ died for all, but can’t we see there’s a war between God’s side and evil (devil)  and the Bible has a clear warning for all who read Revelation 17 to understand the imagery of a woman (church) riding the government (beast) of New World Order and the church is sitting on 7 hills (Rome) verse 9.
