Of course, all the food shortage scare for September, was REALLY coming from two things: First off, when Germany said that Feb 24 (not Sept 24) would be remembered…’you would remember where you were…’, as this was the day 1 for the Ukrainian invasion. Secondly, when Pete Butigeig (Secretary of Transportation) along with Biden, delayed a ‘Railway strike’ in August (for 30-days), pretty-much everyone assumed it would ‘happen’ in September…well, guess what, Biden just signed a tenative deal with the railroads, there will be no strike…so…about that ‘food shortage’, it may come in the form of plowed-under farms, foods grown overseas, etc., but it won’t be on the backs of the railroads…anymore than any of the shortages have been, so far. With Biden’s signing on the contract with the railway, I call this ‘food shortage’ over, before it starts.
