Triple Dose: Coast Guard Commander Reports Fuddy Died From Severe Internal Injuries

On January 6, 2014 we were told that Hawaii Department of Health Director Loretta Fuddy, a central player in the production of Barack Obama’s controversial birth certificate i ii, died from cardiac arrhythmia iii after the small plane she was in had to make an emergency ocean landing. iv

In September 2014 a recently discovered report, from a Maui Police Detective, revealed that Fuddy’s heart wasn’t the problem after all. The Medical Examiner concluded she had drowned, in spite of the fact all witness accounts say she was in a life jacket that kept her afloat. v

Now, it’s November 2014 and I have just reviewed a debriefing report from a Commander with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) who was part of the rescue effort after the ocean ditching. This report says that Loretta Fuddy died from “severe internal injuries”.

I include the relevant part of the debriefing below.

Debrief A/C Commander CG1720 LT (the name after LT is blacked out, CG means Coast Guard and 1720 is a plane identifier number for the CG Hercules.)

“ CG1720 arrived O/S at 0220Z …..A/C Commander did not notice if a 121.5 distress signal was radiating. He relayed that the pilot of the downed A/C stated that he lost engine power shortly after take-off as he was making the left turn to head towards Honolulu, after his second attempt to restart the engine failed he prepped passengers and crew for a water landing and had them don PFD’s. He was able to execute a good water landing and disembark passengers prior to the A/C sinking. Mrs. Fuddy was alive but had sustained severe internal injuries during the ditching. She succumbed to those injuries while awaiting rescue resources to arrive.”

It seems the Commander would have received this information about Fuddy’s injuries from someone trained to make such determinations or why would he repeat it. I don’t think first responders, medical examiners, detectives and deputy coroners, go around making up reasons for how someone died. Assigning a level of professional competency to them we must give their findings some credibility.

So how did they end up with three disparate causes of death for this woman?

A few weeks ago, vi I argued that if the medical examiner concluded that Fuddy had drowned, as the detective in this case reported, it would be a hard cause of death to retract. Drowning is a difficult determination made on a very specific set of criteria. You can’t all of a sudden say that you saw no evidence of drowning and switch the cause of death to cardiac arrhythmia, a cause of death that is virtually unseen in an autopsy. Now, we have a claim that she succumbed to “severe internal injuries”, injuries that would have been evident at autopsy. But we can’t confirm or rule out this claim because Fuddy’s entire autopsy report, in spite of it being a public record, was blacked out. vii No medical findings were revealed other than the official cause of death. Or should I say the official story?

We also have varied accounts about where her body was found. A Maui County Fire Captain says that Fuddy’s body remained in the fuselage of the plane viii and that they were “unable to get her out”. A Maui County Police Lt says that Fuddy’s body was recovered from the “wreckage” ix not the water.

Yet, eye witnesses have stated that Fuddy made it out of the plane just fine and was floating in the water, in her life jacket, with fellow passengers. x The USCG rescue swimmers say that they found her, dead, floating in the water after the plane sank. xi

To make things even more confusing Janice Okubo, from the Hawaii Department of Health, recently told me that Fuddy died “on Molokai”. xii Now if Fuddy died of internal injuries in a plane floating in the ocean I would not say that she died on Molokai. And, if Fuddy drowned or had a heart attack while floating in the ocean, I would not say that she died on Molokai.

Is this yet another scenario for how Loretta Fuddy died? Not in the water, or in the plane but on the island. Not by drowning, or cardiac arrhythmia but from severe internal injuries. I’m beginning to feel like Dr. Seuss. Can anyone get this story straight? It keeps getting more convoluted. xiii

When you have conflicting stories surrounding a suspicious death, or any death, you investigate it until all the pieces fall into place. Hawaii statute HRS 841-3 was precisely made for this kind of scenario. xiv It requires a full investigation into accidental and unusual deaths. When asked why the Maui Police Department never conducted an investigation into Fuddy’s death under this statute, the Police Chief replied that HRS 841-3 does not “statutorily apply”. xv However, on October 29, 2014, Okubo informed me that the law does apply and that they have complied with it by conducting an autopsy on Loretta Fuddy. xvi

Folks, under this statute a complete investigation involves more than just an autopsy. It includes interviewing witnesses and first responders, under sworn oath, and collecting evidence. xvii The investigation also must be conducted in a manner where said interviews and evidence could be used in a court of law.

Closing

Why am I paying all this attention to Loretta Fuddy’s death?

Because Barack Obama says he got a photocopy of his original 1961 Hawaiian birth certificate from Loretta Fuddy. He held a press conference on April 27, 2011, to announce that he had scanned and posted that birth certificate on to the White House website for all of us to see. xviii

Why did Obama want to make sure we saw this original birth certificate?

I’ll tell you why. Obama said his father was a citizen of Kenya. xix For 16 years he told people that he himself was born in Kenya and was raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. This was in his biography on his publisher’s website. xx A biography he wrote about himself. He updated that biography several times during those 16 years; now he’s an author, now he was also raised in Chicago, now he’s a senator, but he always left in the part about being born in Kenya. xxi And people believed him. This was before he had proven himself to be a consummate liar so why shouldn’t they have  believed him? Those familiar with the Constitution pointed out that if he was born in Kenya and if his father was a citizen of Kenya, he was not eligible to be President of the United States.

Realizing the error of his ways, Obama immediately began insisting that he was a citizen of this country. He announced his bid for the presidency in February 2007 and on April 21,2007, he changed his biography to say that he was born in Hawaii. xxii

That’s about the same time people began demanding that he produce his original birth certificate.

Fours years later, and in re-election mode, Obama announced he was tired of all the “silliness” surrounding his citizenship status and asked Loretta Fuddy for a photocopy of his original birth certificate. What Obama actually posted, however, on the White House website, was an image of a forged Hawaiian birth certificate. xxiii xxiv xxv A month before Fuddy died she had been named in an affidavit requesting that a Grand Jury launch an investigation into Obama’s forged birth certificate and Fuddy’s role, if any, in the production of it. xxvi There were nine souls on board the plane that day on December 11, 2013, and Fuddy was the only fatality. So you can see why those of us who are convinced that Obama’s birth certificate was forged, suspected foul play.

Of course we could be completely wrong. But the recent discovery that there were three extremely different causes of death listed for Fuddy, first, severe internal injuries, second, drowning and third, cardiac arrhythmia, bolsters that original suspicion. When stories change red flags should go up.

At the very least I am convinced that someone is trying to hide something about the way she died. Are they hiding incompetence, confusion at the scene of rescue, murder or something else? I don’t know. But I do know this, an official investigation into the demise of Loretta Fuddy is long overdue and I don’t care if it proves me wrong or proves me right. I just want to get this story straight.

December 11, 2013, USCG rescue swimmers say that Fuddy’s body was found, at approximately 4:30pm, floating in the water in her life jacket 200 yards away from the nearest survivor, a woman.

December 12, 2013, Maui Fire Captain Terry Seelig says Fuddy died and “remained in the fuselage of the plane” and that “It’s always a difficult situation when you’re not able to get everybody out.”

December 12, 2013, Maui Police Lt William Juan says that Fuddy’s body was “recovered from the wreckage” not the water.

December 13, 2013, Maui Police Detective Jamie Winfrey, Deputy Coroner, reports that Fuddy’s preliminary cause of “death is Drowning”. This was after the autopsy at 10:28am. Fuddy’s autopsy began at 7:00am.

December 13, 2013, On a Coroner’s Inquest form, signed by Detective Winfrey, the Cause of death was changed to “Acute cardiac arrhythmia due to  Hyperventilation”. No time of day is noted on the form.

October 29, 2014, Janice Okubo, Hawaii Department of Health, says that Fuddy’s death “occurred on Molokai”.

I had emailed the Sheriff and DOH Administrator of Kalaupapa and asked them to confirm if they had conducted an investigation into Fuddy’s death under HRS 841-3. No response. It was not until part 1 of this article was published, in fact the very day, that Janice Okubo, Hawaii State Department of Health, replied, “In accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes 841-3, an autopsy was conducted and the report is available from the Maui County Police Department. The unattended death occurred on Molokai and the Maui Chief of Police is the Coroner for Maui County.” October 29, 2014.

Fuddy was named in two affidavits (one public, one sealed) filed in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington on October 18, 2013, by Douglas Vogt, citing twenty points of forgery that comprise misprision of treason and misprision of felony. Vogt, with researcher and document expert Paul Irey, investigated the intricacies of the forgery. Mr. Vogt’s affidavit and Miss.
