In hindsight, when you think about it, the Dems’ enthusiasm with Mueller’s investigation was reminiscent of their attitude near the end of the election when they were so convinced that Trump was going to lose. Everyone knows now that they had the election rigged, but their plans failed. Then, with the Mueller investigation, we saw them once again enthusiastic over the possibility of hanging Trump out to dry. What was their reaction when their hopes weren’t realized? They became infuriated, of course. This suggests that once again, they thought they had the deck stacked but their efforts failed – again. We need a few top-level indictments before 2020 and we need to keep Trump in office for another term so he can finish the job.
