Ideologues and Demagogues

When you follow the news daily, after a while, trends and themes start appearing on various matters.  That makes it easy to proclaim forecasts, projections, conclusions, predictions, guesstimates, and hunches.  When you deal with a narcissistic ideologue such as BHO, it is easy to tell what his next move is going to be.  Watching what he does more than what he says (because he is a chronic liar) tells you what to expect in the future.  It doesn’t require a prophet to make fairly accurate guesses when you deal with such demagogues.  I’ll be baaaaack!  We absolutely cannot allow that man to get re-elected.  Watch for the progressives to work hard to rig the election and commit voter fraud at various voting sites in battleground states.  That’s my prediction.

Our Current Foreign Policy

President Obama has changed the United States threat levels to the following:

  1. Surrender and beg for forgiveness
  2. Cut and run as the enemy storms our shores (i.e., retreat)
  3. Join with the enemies through the United Nations (“KITA” for Israel and other allies)
  4. Talk it out and negotiate without any preconditions or make unilateral concessions
  5. Bow, apologize, and present the enemy with a cup of tea

This really has been the foreign policy under the pacifistic Obama administration.

Selling Books

The sales level of your book is probably no different than mine and about 90% of all authors.  Only about 10% of the authors make enough money selling their books to live on.  The secret is to be a well-known radio or television announcer/commentator/host, movie star, sports hero, elected high governmental official (e.g., president, governor, U.S. senator, Congressman, etc.), a national hero, military general officer, multi-billionaire, someone who made big news in the media for some great accomplishment (climbing Mt. Everest for the first time), someone infamous for some sordid crime or other such dealings, or someone who has built up a following from years and years of publishing articles, papers, books, blogs, etc.

Unless someone puts you in an instant position of fame, fortune, power, or influence, you must work through years (which may take a lifetime) of paying your dues in developing a dedicated, faithful following.  On the “Before It’s News” website, for example, I have a following of over 10,800 people.  It took me over the past 10 months to build up such a following.  It is now growing at over 100 a day.

Remember, some of the most famous artists/painters did not become famous until years after their death (e.g., El Greco, Vincent Van Gogh, Gaugin, et al.).  Writers/authors that became famous only after their death include Henry David Thoreau, Edgar Allan Poe, and Franz Kafka.  Of course, the few super-talented writers today get to the top with their unique and interesting manner of writing.  There are not too many of those people around.  You know them when you read their material—mine excluded.

To a Laid-off Union Member

A laid off union member named Martin made the following statement:

Some of you my (sic) have misunderstood me.  I care about ALL the hard working Americans who are unemployed.  ALL of our high paying jobs have been shipped to China.  All of the Americans who once worked in manafacturing (sic) have not (sic) died.  We are watching the pool of good paying job (sic) dry up.  If Americans can’t make money, they can’t spend it.  What good is a PHD if the only job left is a wal-mart (sic) greeter?  The US WAS the leader of science and technology of the entire world.  Look around at our cities HUGE banks and sport arenas with a population who can’t afford a ticket.  Maybe I should get a PHD in basketball.

Here is my response to Martin:

Martin,

You sound like a bitter young man.  You need a paradigm shift so that you don’t come across so negative.  With your attitude, you will not find a job soon.

Additionally, you should not maintain such a poor attitude towards PhDs.  It is not easy to earn that degree.  There are plenty of jobs for PhDs.  You just need the right connections and to know where to find the available jobs.  Even though you may have been kidding, I really doubt you could make it through graduate school to earn a PhD in basketball.  That’s just my honest opinion.

Of course, you have your faithful union to find you a job.  Don’t count on the union goons, for they are only out for themselves.  You poor union members keep paying your dues, and they waste your money in funding loser liberal candidates who got us in this economic mess in the first place.

I suggest you re-invent yourself in another industry.  I know unions.  I used to be a member of the California Teachers Association (CTA).  What a rip-off they were.  Don’t look to your union bosses (goons) for help.  They couldn’t care less about the rank-and-file members except to get their dues.  At any rate, I do wish you the best.

Respectfully,

Bob Uda

Three Months Vacation

Someone suggested that I continue my involvement by publishing a joint weekly editorial on my blog sites during my absence over the next three months while I’m focused on completing my doctoral dissertation.

Here is my response:

Thank you for the suggestion.  However, I’d rather not show any involvement at all for at least three continuous months.  People will think I’m still involved if we went together on your editorial page idea.  I just want to have a three-month total blackout, hiatus, and vacation from the daily activity to which I have previously been heavily involved.  However, you can start your own blog page on both the “Before It’s News” (B4IN) and BlogSpot.com websites.  It’s free, and you will then be known as a B4IN reporter.  You should do that.  I highly recommend it.  You will get excellent exposure, and you can promote your book.  The BlogSpot page you create is also free.

Notice three of the slogans in my signature block below:

  • An army of one
  • Sovereign Individualist
  • “One man with courage is a majority.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

I have reported to, worked with, or been under the influence of people (usually against my will) throughout my life.  Now, at 68 years old, I desire to be a sovereign individualist and not be influenced by anybody or report to nobody—but God.  Cheers!

Your friend,

Bob Uda
