Open Borders: If They Had Their Way

What can be said? We build the fence. We did the deed. We pissed off some liberal bigots and for the bulk of the student body, reassured them that there are others who share their views. 

But for the small fraction of students who have all the money and all the support of the administration on their side, a protest was mounted against our fence. Now I was expecting the usual we’re all people arguments but I never thought the protesting mob would be so bold. 

I know, as most conservatives do, these openborder proponents aren’t in the business of assimilating illegal immigrants into the fabric of our American society. But one would imagine with even just an ounce of political acumen they wouldn’t openly advocate such a stance for all the American public to see. 

Yet they did it. In a completely nonchalant way these left-wing bigots showed their true colors during our fence event. Many students openly wore shirts depicting Aztlan and the reconquest of the American Southwest for Mexico by demographic attrition from illegal immigrants south of the border.

Make no mistake, these openborder advocates that cantillate the wonders of a world without borders is nothing but a clever hoax. What they want is territory from the United States. When illegals and their supporters say their Americans, and when they somberly wave the American flag, don’t fall for it. 

It’s a lie. The protesters were organized by the local MEChA student group on campus. MEChA stands for the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano De Aztlan (MEChA). MEChA’s national website’s ‘About Us’ page states:

Each word in MEChA symbolizes a great concept in terms of la causa. Movimiento means that the organization is dedicated to the movement to gain self-determination for our people. Estudiantil, identifies the organization as a student group for we are part of our Raza’s future. At the heart of the name is the use of the identity: Chicano. At first seen as a negative word, now taken for a badge of honor. In adopting their new identity, the students committed themselves to return to the barrios, colonias, or campos and together, struggle against the forces that oppress our gente. Lastly, the affirmation that we are Indigenous people to this land by placing our movement in Aztlan, the homeland of all peoples from Anahuak.

Cool stuff, huh? Did you catch the very, might I say, racial overtones of this organization? By the way ‘Raza’ means race for all who don’t know.

These types of people along with their liberal globalist enablers in campus administrations all over the country really are running the show – in and out of the classroom.
