Well I considered this a NO-BRAINER, I mean, ah, dah, NO, I’d rather go to 5 or more sites to read and respond to all my e-mails. Of course I would like to centralize all my email addresses, who wouldn’t? So, I just got a new computer (where I’m at HYPERLINK “http://www.nicaliving.com/node/17414″http://www.nicaliving.com/node/17414 the salt water from the great Pacific eats electronics like the Feds print money, an unsatiable appitite) and of course when I start up my new machine I get all these new niffty advertisements to better this and that, go faster, think in Farsi in 4 minutes, have it type as you think, etc. WINDOWS and HOTMAIL have what I consider a great concept, putting all your emails in one basket and deal from it from one email source, all emails to and from all email accounts from ONE address. How convenient and makes life with multiple email accounts much faster I would expect.

THERE’S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MILLI-SECOND! “IF IT’S SOUNDS TOO GOOD, IT ISN’T WHAT THEY SAY IT IS”, “IF THEY SAY IT’S FREE, IT PROBABLY ISN’T”, etc. goes straight to my head.

But hey, this is e-mail, right? This is Hotmail (Made Famous for being FREE) and Windows (Mr. Gates Baby) Live (I just bought their new windows 7 didn’t I?) If THEY say it’s free I got to believe them, right?

But do THEY tell you it will cost you to send emails if you use it more than THEY want you to? NOT until it doesn’t work! All for only $19.95 a year.

Do they tell you that THEY decide what is “junk” that you are sending or not? ( Your message seems to have triggered our junk email filters. Could you edit your message and try again? I changed the sentences, eliminated “suspect” words, etc. I guess THEY don’t like my editing abilities either. What a shame, I liked what I wrote and wanted to send it to the person waiting for my reply.

I have a great little hotel on the Pacific Ocean called the Playa Roca Beach Hotel HYPERLINK “http://www.nicaliving.com/node/17621″http://www.nicaliving.com/node/17621 and between my personal mail and business mail 20 emails doesn’t crack the mornings email activity, even though we a just a small privately owned beach resort.

Their response to my 2nd question on why I am unable to get my emails mailed out:

Additional Details
I have only sent a few messages to known people from known people and got “cut off”, and I have more emails I need to send. This is something I have not had to deal with, and should not have to deal with. I am busy and don’t need this “time out” to have to respond with this message. I just purchased this computer and was asked if I wanted to combine all my email accounts in one place “Hotmail” and agreed. I don’t know if that was a good thing to do if this is how this site works.

MY RESPONSE to THEIR response:

What is this 20 emails per day response “stuff”? I get the “error” message way before I get to 20 emails. Plus I have more than ONE email address being forwarded to my hotmail address, SO even 20 emails for all my other accounts won’t even cover answering ALL my emails. If the “spam” filters work ALL my emails have a potential to be IMPORTANT and need to be answered and I get more than 20 per day. I have a hotel for 2 of my email accounts, one for reservations and another for general emails as well as personal accounts for various reasons.

Another E-Mail to Windows Live/Hotmail Customer Services:

I have been having a BIG problem with you limiting my emails going out. I have written you several times with no response (Never got an alert that my other questions, concerns have been read) Now I try to send an email and I can’t because of an email “filter” saying I am sending “junk”. Blocked? I re-edit it again, send it and it still is UNSENDABLE by YOUR “filter”. Is HAL 5000 working for windows/hotmail? HAL: “I’m sorry Dave, but you can’t send emails today” Me/Dave: “Why is that Hal, I’m just sending an ordinary email in response to a customer”? HAL: “Because I don’t want to!”
I can go back to using my old AOL, G-mail, or Yahoo, etc., and eliminated all these “censors” you are putting on MY account.
You marketed me perfectly to use your site and wha-la, I am being overly goverened by your monitoring of me. This is sick, especially since one of the “cures” is to PURCHASE another way to do email that allows normal activity.
Whoopie, if you “saved” my outgoing email in drafts! I needed to reply to an email ASAP and can’t do it without copying and paste it into A DIFFERENT email account and send it that way. How bad is that? YOU DECIDE what gets sent or NOT?
AND since you advise and advertise to get ALL your email accounts forwarded to YOUR?MY address at hotmail, I am “LOCKED” into this “limiting” emails for ALL my accounts. If I respond to emails from ALL my accounts I go past my (YOUR SELF IMPOSED) limits and have to go to alternate methods of copy and paste or just not use your “collective” email gathering source.
