INEFFECTIVE AND INCOMPETENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO GO

With today’s political situation in the United States from the President down, it doesn’t seem to matter what party is a majority. Nothing gets done.
When a bill comes up for review, it is eventually watered down to the point where it no longer resembles its original purpose and is attached to some unpopular bill, becoming completely unacceptable by the public before it’s even signed into law. This is so, because everyone in Washington is more interested in reaching a compromise with their opposing party rather than sticking with their core beliefs. John McCain used to pride himself of being able to “reach across the isle” as he put it in getting things done. However, this attitude has rendered our government useless in being able to make any concrete decisions and usually detrimental results were the outcome.
Both Republicans and Democrats have become useless figureheads who get nothing constructive done. When they actually do something it usually goes against the public’s needs.
In today’s economy, which is realistically in a Depression, the people no longer can afford a government that is ineffective at every level. We have to have people in government that have strong core beliefs that are not willing to compromise them away, through wrangling with their opposing party.
So far, there are not any emerging politicians who fit this description and the ones currently in office cannot be trusted to make the hard decisions necessary for sane governing. Everyone in Washington is more interested in their image and prospects of being reelected, than doing the job they were elected for in the first place. While the reality is, the voting public needs to fire all of them for being afraid to stick with the values they were elected for.
The compromise is literally killing the country.
The Tea Party thinks it has the answer with prospective candidates, they think will hold strong with the values, they were voted into office with. However, nothing could be further from reality. Once they get into office and either get nothing done because of their opposing party in power blocking every idea and bill they come up with or again, permit their ideas to be watered down to useless pieces of paper. Either way, both the current situation in Washington and that projected by the Tea Party will result in a complete Lame Duck business as usual attitude, as long as the current way of governing in Washington is permitted to continue.
The real problem with our current Federal Government, is they are literally trying to satisfy everyone while really satisfying no one. In the mean time, the country is going down the toilet.
The solution to today’s political mess is for states to become more independent in being allowed to govern themselves, without the interference of the Feds. We have reached the point in this country where an overall central government presiding over all 50 states is no longer acceptable. For instance, most of the country does not share the same political views and values of those on the West Coast and the East Coast. Nonetheless, the entire country currently has to compromise politically with such ideas and ideals from both coasts, simply because these states have most of the elected officials in Washington, trying to impose legislation over the rest of us who do not appreciate their idealism.
It only takes one good look at the economic situation of these coastal states, such as California and New York to realize that their form of governing has brought them to the annals of bankruptcy court. Most states suffering hard economic times in the interior are experiencing it as a direct result of legislation enacted on them, by these Liberal states through Federal law.
Each state needs to be allowed to govern themselves without any interference from the Federal government on all levels from the military to taxes.
The time has come to fire an incompetent central government, which shares nothing with the citizenry of most of the country and implement individual governing by each state that shares the needs and ideals of their own citizens.
The United States has become too independent for a centralized Federal government to be effective. Thus, it is time to dissolve the Federal government for independence of each state.
This will allow states such as Texas to continue prosperous ways while making states like California take responsibility in dealing with their own self-imposed debt, which came from irresponsible governing.
