Alan Keyes Gives Obama a Lesson on Faith

Thanks to our contributor Jim for bringing this video to my attention in the comment section of another article.  This may be an old video, but it’s quite revealing about Obama’s opinion of religion and it’s place in politics.  I thought Alan Keyes states his position so well and exposes the ‘convenience’ factor to Obama’s so-called faith.

To say you can not assume your “faith is absolute,” as Obama put it, is ridiculous.  If it isn’t absolute, it isn’t faith!

The best quote of the video comes at the 2:50 mark when Keyes says,

“…You’re trying to suggest my faith shaped conscience has no place in our politics, and yet if I go into the voting booth or into public life without my faith shaped conscience, then I have no conscience.  For the Lord said I must love him with my whole heart, soul, mind and strength.  There’s nothing left over.  Without faith, there is just a faith shaped void where the conscience should be.”
