To Mothers Precious Everywhere

It is the mother’s heart that cries
when children drift away,
and yes the mother’s heart does die
when young ones go astray.

Her love is there and always true,
she holds her children dear.
She brings forth life afresh, anew
and sheds a tender tear

Her life she gives without remorse
and dedicates her soul.
She asks for little through the course,
her children is her goal.

To mothers everywhere this day,
a rose I’d like to give,
and show them all in every way,
we love the life they live.

To My Beautiful Wife On Mother’s Day

Beyond the years of never tears
within the darkness no one hears
those whispers precious in my ears.

Beyond the winds I see her smile
and tarry in her arms a while
in dreams we drift along the Nile

So sweet beyond my wildest dreams
that through the breeze of time it seems
We glide along on angel beams

Caressing hearts with soft desire
and listen to the plucking lyre
to keep the lake of love afire

There’s naught but feelings there to lay
for words have nothing they can say
just hold you close and gently sway
And love you on this Mother’s day.
