North Korea Threatens Preemptive Nuclear Attack on US Mainland

Because North Korea seems to threaten an attack on the US or its interests on a daily basis, news that the rogue regime Thursday threatened to launch a “preemptive nuclear attack” on the US mainland is largely going unreported.  While intelligence officials are confident that North Korea does not possess an arsenal capable of attacking the US mainland, it is somewhat alarming how far the latest threat was willing to go.  This is more than chest-pounding, folks. “Since the United States is about to ignite a nuclear war, we will be exercising our right to preemptive nuclear attack against the headquarters of the aggressor in order to protect our supreme interest,” the North’s foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement carried by the official KCNA news agency.”
