I’m a Racist

I’m a Racist. I have to be since I disagree with President Obama on so many issues. And that, according to the media and Obama supporters, makes me a racist. I didn’t vote for him, so according to those groups, it has to be because he is black. There could be no other reason. “Hope and Change” might have been all that was needed to secure the vote of the low information voter but I wanted more. I wanted a President where we knew more about his background than what any college graduate is required to reveal to secure their first job. Tom Brokaw stated after the election, “We don’t know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy” and that wasn’t good enough for me. The potential leader of the free world wasn’t vetted by the media well enough to understand his world views, yet I am a racist. Let’s examine some of the other reasons I am considered a racist:

I’m a racist because I consider President Obama a disaster for the economy. While the unemployment rate stays basically unchanged, since the Bush Presidency, it does so because of the changes in the rate of labor participation. If the number of people looking for work was the same as when Bush left office the unemployment rate would be around 11%. Nearly 90 million citizens have given up Hope of finding a job with no Change in site.

I’m a racist because I think it is pathetic that the price of gas at the pump has risen from $1.83 per gallon to nearly $4.00 per gallon under Obama’s stewardship. Under Obama this 90%+ increase has occurred while the President has restricted drilling, and stopped the building of the Keystone pipeline. The President has been absent from producing energy that would be of use to common citizens, but has wasted $90 billion on green energy programs. To add insult to injury 19 of these companies receiving taxpayer dollars went bankrupt. As an aside, that should be investigated, 80% of the Department of Energy dollars went to Obama backers.

I’m a racist because despite the fact that the majority of energy used in this country, to manufacture electricity, comes from coal, President Obama thinks coal is the enemy. While at the same time Obama touts his green energy policies, he has destroyed coal energy by regulation. It is one campaign promise that Obama has kept. Let us not forget that as a candidate in 2008 he famously said “If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can, it’s just that it will bankrupt them.” Since becoming President this war on coal has become real. Government regulations are forcing 57 coal fired generators to shut down because compliance with regulations is so costly. This cost is beginning to show on home energy bills and will, as the President also stated, “necessarily skyrocket.”

I’m a racist because the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) was passed before Congress even had a chance to read it. This signature act of Obama’s first term survived a feckless Congress and has become what Democrat Senator Max Baucus of Montana, (one of the bills authors) calls a “train wreck.” Remember how the cost would be $938 billion over 10 years and provide everyone with affordable health insurance? Individual health insurance costs are, like electricity, skyrocketing. Additionally, the Office of Management and Budget now places the cost of ObamaCare at $1.8 trillion over ten years. I’m a racist because I think a $900 billion dollar difference is a major deception.

I’m a racist because I think Benghazi, and the death of four Americans, is a huge scandal and that the truth must be learned. If there is nothing to hide, why can’t we know what the President was doing during the attack. All we know is that between a routine meeting at 5:00 P.M. and a phone conversation with Secretary of State Clinton at 10:00 P.M., he did not call the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, or the Director of the CIA. Who was the President getting his information from? Who gave the “Stand Down” order? What role did Valerie Jarrett play? Regardless, the Commander in Chief failed and that is the reason that a coverup is taking place. Of course we are racists for wanting answers. Obama and company see everything in a political light. They couldn’t let the murder of four Americans interfere with their campaign meme that Al Qaeda was on the run.

I’m a racist because I want to know if President Obama was involved in the Internal Revenue Service targeting of individuals and organizations opposed to him politically. I want to know if the President was involved. I want to know, if the President was not involved, why did members of his staff keep it from him? I want to know why former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the Obama White House 118 times in the same time frame that the President held 4 cabinet meetings. What were the purposes of these visits since President Obama’s only stated interest in taxes was raising them on the rich. Perhaps he had a second interest, harassing citizens who did not agree with his policies.

I’m a racist because I think the Constitution is sacrosanct. I think the Obama administration attempting to take guns away from Americans, while running guns to criminals (Fast and Furious), is dereliction of duty. I think actions taken toward the Associated Press and James Rosen harken back to Watergate and are a move toward tyranny.

I’m a racist because I didn’t vote for the least vetted man ever to become President. I didn’t vote for Barack Obama because as a Libertarian I could never vote for an individual who thinks government is the answer to all problems. If Ronald Reagan himself, held the views of President Obama, I would not vote for him. Thus I guess I have to resign myself to the fact that I’m a racist.
