At first I thought.. Nobody could be this completely ignorant. Nobody could be this stupid. It’s simply not possible outside of the realm of satire.

The Onion.. It had to be The Onion.. Or Nat’l Lampoon. Something.. But no. No.. This was an actual, published letter to the editor of the Carteret County News-Times.

I present said letter..

Sure… It’s a year old. Sure.. It could be someone pulling our leg. The Paper could be having a bit fun with us. But they did publish it. They did report the fact that it was spotted and gone viral. They’ve done nothing to cast doubt on the legitimacy of it. For over a year.. So it stands.. A sad.. sorry.. cringeworthy read from a troubled mind.

And the fact that the “Obamaphone”, “Obama-stash”, “someone has to be responsible for these kids”, “30rd Magazines are single use items that will be consumed on use”, “Unemployment is freedom” types of people are out there.. Lends absolute credibility to such a letter.

My reserve of “Speechlessness” has long run dry…
