A comedy about abortion....coming to a theater near you.

Forget the tissues and grad the Pepto Bismol as you enter this one…. 
 I wonder how they settled on the name for this movie…Obvious Child…..a romantic comedy about abortion. 

Yes, you read that right.  As in the limbo contest, how low can you go, this romantic comedy deals with drunkenness, public urination, one night stands and abortion. A real side splitter. The general plot is that a wanna be stand up comedian uses her real life sex escapees  in her act and it doesn’t amuse her lover, who  gets even by sleeping with her best friend. In the world of I’ll show you, she goes out and gets drunk,  picked up and does all sorts of funny stuff like urinating on a public street and has sex. You guessed it, she gets pregnant and has an abortion. Laugh lines galore. 

Newsbusters does a great job of showing how Big Abortion and the Hollywood crowd thought this movie was so fabulous and details the praises for the movie. 

“Slate’s Amanda Hess  applaudedthe film as “the most honest abortion movie I’ve ever seen.” She emphasized, “This is a romantic comedy where the girl gets an abortion and gets the guy.” Wow, you can have it all! To which Newsbusters sarcastically asked, “why shouldn’t we see the lighter side of infanticide?” A story that has a “happy ending minus the baby “and the “abortion allows this couple to have a real shot at love.“

 Really? I would say their chances are slim to none.

“The film raised money for production through Kickstarter, which recently made headlines after refusing the Gosnell movie permission to fundraise. The crowdfunding site also funded “After Tiller,” a documentary which followed the last four late-term abortionists in America.”

Planned Parenthood and NARAL are hosting showings and the Hollywood industry is beside themselves with praise. This is all part of “normalizing” the abortion experience and pushing back from the I Regret My Abortion crowd and the movies showing the star choosing life such as Bella, Juno and Knocked Up.

From the name of the slutty picture to the dialogue acknowledging that abortion kills….

The night before Donna’s scheduled abortion, Max (baby daddy) comes to see her standup act:

“You killed it” [Max] compliments Donna after her rousing routine.

Donna’s response…

“Isn’t that what I’m doing tomorrow?”

calling this a romantic comedy is not edgy, it is is sick. No pretense that she is killing a child, just another laugh line.
