USA and the recipe for destruction

The United States has now passed the proverbial ‘crossroads’ and has taken the road not only less traveled by, but the road that might just  lead to ruin.

Unless one has had their head in the sand, it is not any secret that the United States is in considerable trouble today. The United States is facing economic trouble, political troubles and has become a nation without any real leadership or vision. These factors can only lead to additional and probably more substantial problems in the near future.

The United States has become a country where those in the government give but mere lip service to the Constitution and mention it only when it serves their immediate political needs.

Unfortunately I believe, as many others do also, that the United States will not get back to its once glorious position as a beacon of freedom, liberty and greatness…but it is not too late to right the ship and to get the ship back on a straight and worthy course.

Lack of Loyalty or a House Divided Against Itself.

Loyalty is paramount for a nation to continue as a vibrant country, actively working, and to be an economically and militarily strong country. Benjamin Franklin once said, “We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.” Mr. Franklin recognized the importance of teamwork.  And one of the main items needed for teamwork is loyalty, which is loyalty to a cause or a belief with a common goal in mind and in heart.

Especially in the last 65 or so years, the United States has had an influx of people into the nation that have divided loyalties. I mean by divided loyalties, that they have dual citizenship; with both their country of birth and the USA or the other problem which is growing in massive numbers…they’re coming here illegally. And because they were born in another nation other than the USA, they still have strong attachments and loyalty to that nation and/or government of their birth. When this is the case, it is only natural to want to bring ideas along that are not in line with our Constitution and the American Way of Life.

There are many places in the United States where it is getting hard to tell if it is really the USA or another nation altogether. Many communities speak no English and even some high school graduates of American schools cannot speak English and do not understand the Constitution. There are many who have and are coming to the United States illegally having never attained citizenship status at all. Many are coming here only to reap the benefits of this nation without supporting its Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Section 1 Article 2 of the Constitution lays out the eligibility requirements to be the President of the United States:

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

There is a reason the Founders put it this way…they knew that to be President a person must not have divided loyalties’ and their only loyalty was to be to the United States and the Constitution of the United States and not another nation or way of life except the American Way of Life, the way of the USA. Nevertheless, to destroy the USA, it must have divided loyalties, and it the USA… most certainly does.

Some possible solutions:

1. Repeal (revise) the 14th Amendment

2. Greatly increase security enforcement at the borders, send National Guard

3. Slow down the immigration process

4. Disallow (no more) dual citizenship

5. DOJ must allow states to enforce current laws on illegal immigration

6. Moratorium on real estate/property sales to foreigners

7. Enforce Voter ID laws
