Gaza: One Billion Sissies and The Lucifer Netanyahoo

As Gaza burns and is pulverised to rubble under the raining phosphorus of the Israeli war machine, the Islamic world watches with be-wilderness and helplessness. Carnage in Gaza is just daily news, the month of Ramadan another ritual and the coming Eid another tradition.

Looking around the so called Islamic World, I find brother at brother’s throat in a perpetual fault line war which has the potential to destroy Islamic Civilization. It looks as if the world of Islam has produced Sissies only in last sixty years. Having written some previous pieces on plight of Islamic World, it appears that call for rationality and unity in Islamic world is falling on deaf ears of the one billion Sissies. Tragedy is that the Al Assads of Syria,Siissies of Egypt, Kurds, Shias and Sunnis of Iraq and so many others in the Islamic world are so good in killing their own people but become real Sissies when it comes to the plight of Palestinians or taking a stand against oppression of Muslims across the world.

On the other hand the Lucifer Netanyahu is having a field day in killing fields of Gaza,his arrogance touches the new high and he boasts of Israeli ability and technology to kill more innocent Palestinian Muslims by destroying every standing building, hospital, mosque, school and shelter.

I dedicate this small piece to the fallen of Gaza and those who will be spending the coming Eid ul Fitr with blood in their homes and tears in their eyes: 

SPARROWS OF GAZA AND ONE BILLION SISSIES

The Lucifer smiles amid raining phosphorus

And sparrows of Gaza watch one Billion Sissies

Of Shores of Gulf, Mediterranean and Bosphorus

Of Lands of Sahara, Hejaz and Indus

Of Islands of Malacca, Sulawesi and Sumatra

One billion Sissies celebrating their Eid

An Eid of despair and blood and tears

This Ramadhan, we have witnessed

The grandfathers burying their grand sons

Amid thundering bombs and sounds of guns

And hospitals ,mosques and schools in flames

And One Billion Sissies playing games

And streets of Gaza with daily funerals

And drooping shoulders of mothers and sisters

And blood stained cradles of the newly born

Shrieking kids losing their breath

In the narrow and darkened alleys of death

But

The Lucifer smiles amid raining phosphorus

And sparrows of Gaza watch one Billion Sissies

Of Shores of Gulf, Mediterranean and Bosphorus

Of Lands of Hejaz, Indus and Sahara,

Of Islands of Malacca, Sulawesi and Sumatra

Can we, the scared sparrows of Gaza

If you don’t mind, ask you some questions?

Of Custodians of Kaaba, Najaff and Hajver

And the sons of Qasim, Saladin and Tippu

And Successors of Jinnah, Ataturk and Saud

What makes you week and paranoid?

Are the dollars, dinars and your sprawling malls

More precious than blood of Muslims

Or the fear of Lucifer Netanyahoo

And fear of his backers in Washington

Greater than fear of Allah Allmighty?

Can your Islands of Prosperity

Exist in the sea of misery

And your lofty houses built on Sand

Exist amid the bones and blood

But

The Lucifer smiles amid raining phosphorus

And sparrows of Gaza watch one Billion Sissies

Of Shores of Gulf, Mediterranean and Bosphorus

Of Lands of Hejaz, Indus and Sahara,

Of Islands of Malacca, Sulawesi and Sumatra

We the sparrows of Gaza

Urge you in this time of our despair

In Mosques, graveyards and street squares

A time of so many funeral prayers

Think of your Eid and their Eid my dears

You kids and kith and kinn and you

Will go to those sprawling malls

And Buy some fancy clothes and shoes

And attend some fancy balls

The music will play so loud and nice

Over plates of roasted meat and rice

And the Gazans will remain busy my dear

In lifting bodies of dead my dear

And burying bodies of dead my dear

The bodies of newly borne and old

Strapped in sheets and rags, behold

But

The Lucifer smiles amid raining phosphorus

And sparrows of Gaza watch one Billion Sissies

Of Shores of Gulf, Mediterranean and Bosphorus

Of Lands of Hejaz, Indus and Sahara,

Of Islands of Malacca, Sulawesi and Sumatra

We the Sparrows of Gaza my Dear

Still hope, that day will come

Out of stock of one Billion Sissies

Will grow a crowd of Ghairat Mands

Will rise as phoenix of Saladin

Will liberate majestic Lands of Islam

From Gaza to Moros of Phillipine

and from lofty Kashmir Valleys

To the Hills of Palestine
