Australian Prime Minister Tells Muslims Adapt Or Leave

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has told Muslims living in Australia to either adapt to their democracy, legal system and pluralistic society, founded on Judeo Christian ideals, or leave the country.  Gillard is not telling Muslims to abandon their faith; but rather to practice it in peace, while being blunt that there will never be Sharia Law practiced in Australia.  The Prime Minister made if very clear that there will be surveillance of Islamic Mosques to make sure they are not Terrorist Training Camps.  In addition, Gillard is telling all immigrants living in Australia that English is the national language and that they need to learn it to be successful in Australia not to mention the rest of the world. 

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has put an end to left wing liberal, politically correct, cultural nonsense that is counter productive to any country.   Gillard has bigger juevos than all her male counter parts in the West.  About 30 years ago, Socialists in the United States started referring to our country as a “Salad Bowl” by comparison with distinct ethic components.  B–L S–T!!   Until then, the United States was always referred to as a Melting Pot, where people came from all over the world to become AMERICANS.   The goal was to learn English and live the American dream. 

This Blogger’s Italian grandparents came from Italy with nothing.  They worked very hard to have something.  Though my grandparents always honored their language, culture and wonderful foods, they did not come to America to recreate the Italy where they had nothing.  Instead, they and their children became part of the Melting Pot that has made America great and a very special country.   Prime Minister Julia Gillard has it right.   Immigrants moving to any country of any nationality, faith or culture must conform to that country’s culture, laws and language.   In free countries that does not mean abandoning one’s faith; but it does mean not trying to impose it, especially by force, on other people. 

We need to hear Gillard’s words coming out of the mouths of American political leaders.  Don’t expect it from Socialists like Obama and his pals in Congress; but Conservatives, Republicans and Independents should speak up and tell all immigrants that come to America to love it, or leave it.  Immigrants need to become Americans.  America does not need to become another country.
