Obama: Time To Do Away With Debate

President Obama thinks that there should be no more debates about anything of any import. Everyone should just bow down and agree to his demands, I suppose. But then what would he do?

He delivered a speech at the City Club of Cleveland and told his progressive audience “We’ve just got to put aside the stale and outmoded debates.” Here’s the full quote.

“Remember those words of FDR: ‘It falls upon us now, to say whether the chapters that are to come will tell a story of retreat or a story of continued advance.’ I believe in continued advance. The challenges that this generation of Americans has faced, they’re less dire than those that the Greatest Generation endured. But we’ve got the same will, we’ve got the same drive, we’ve the same innate optimism required to shape another American century. We know what works. We know what we have to do. We’ve just got to put aside the stale and outmoded debates, rejected failed policies, embrace the policies that we know work, embrace the promise of the future. And we’re not just then going to move forward, we’re going to write the next great chapter of our continued advance in this living book of democracy. All right. Thank you. Cleveland. God bless you.”

That what the highlight of the speech. The whole thing was just emetic. More Bush bashing. More bashing Republicans while boasting that he’s made the economy so great.Oh, and the ipecac icing on the disgusting vomit pie was the claim that Obamacare is working better than he expected. He probably meant it, considering how the law has destroyed health insurance for millions of hard working middle class Americans.
