Another One Bites The Dust – Obamacare Co-op Going Belly Up

It’s back to reality after a long holiday weekend. A high level criminal is walking away scot-free, a psycho political reality star is hurling insults at those of us who don’t agree with her, a liberal actor who glorifies gun violence calls for the confiscation of guns, and another Obamacare co-op is going belly up. In other words, it’s a typical week day in the good old USA.
The Washington Examiner has the bad news for the latest Obamacare co-op to bite the dust.
Connecticut’s taxpayer-funded Obamacare health insurer will close due to minimal federal funding, becoming the 14th consumer-operated and oriented plan to shut down.
The state’s insurance regulator took over HealthyCT, the state’s Obamacare co-op, on Tuesday due to financial problems. The co-op, created to spur more competition on Obamacare’s marketplaces, is the 14th out of 23 nationwide to shut down since they were created in 2014.

I just wonder if anyone out there really believes these co-ops, or Obamacare, were meant to be long term. How many Democrats admitted at the time the dreadful law was passed that it was just a step in the direction of single payer? Did people think they were joking?
