From all accounts that I have heard and read the Republican National Convention isn’t going so well. I watched part of it last night but quickly lost interest. I actually feel a little bad for Melania Trump, her speech was okay but I think she was betrayed by whoever helped her write it. First she plagiarized Michelle Obama, then was Rick Rolled at the end. Oh, and the way the RNC shut down a vote on the rules, talk about a rigged system.
But anyway, I doubt I’ll watch any more of it, except maybe when Ted Cruz speaks. I’m interested in hearing what he has to say.
So I’ll be packing for vacation and playing Pokemon Go! Yes, I will admit, I am playing Pokemon Go with my kids. It’s fun and I’ve walked more miles in the past three days, including two days working at my desk job, than I have in years. Plus I’ve spent a lot of time with the kids, which is nice. Maybe I’ll review it in another post, there are some drawbacks, but so far I would say it’s a fun way to get outside and get some exercise. Oh, and my dog is getting lots of walks. Now when I say “Who wants to go to the Pokestop, Jet barks and runs to the door.”
