NO such thing! It is AK or AKM or any of the later variants.
The way I learned it in Vietnam was that an AK-47 was full auto (As all were there) and an AK is semi-auto.
AK-47 is selectable for semi/fully automatic. Some civilian versions have been ”jammed” on semi-automatic action. Never heard of plain ”AK” and AKM is just lighter version of AK-47 with changes to receiver and added slanted muzzle device for accuracy while shooting in full auto mode. One of my all time favorites because it’s rugged and reliable ”war machine” capable of functioning in the most challenging battle conditions imaginable.
